 Im Amara the daughter of Michelle Padres. My mom was the most beautiful and strongest woman I knew. She battled cervical cancer for almost two decades and suddenly passed. Her husband Tony and I are trying to raise anything we could to have her rest. We appreciate you. Thank you it is much appreciated.

A Loving Farewell for Michelle Paredes

 What started as a normal morning changed our lives in a matter of minutes.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My husband, José Ángel Díaz, left our home that morning just like any other day, heading to work. Only about five minutes after leaving, he was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident after a vehicle made a maneuver in front of him, causing José Ángel to collide with the vehicle and take the force of the impact directly to his body and head.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 José Ángel is only 24 years old. He has his entire life ahead of him. We have been married for three years, have built a life together, and he is also the very loved dad of our three cats, who are waiting for him to come back home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The accident left José Ángel with multiple serious injuries throughout his body, including an injury to his lung with air trapped around it, a fractured rib, serious injuries to his pelvis, a fractured knee, and multiple fractures in both arms, both wrists, and his fingers. One of the fractures in his right arm was an open fracture, meaning the bone broke through the skin. He also sustained some minor injuries to his head.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Doctors also discovered blood clots in his chest, which have made his condition more delicate and have prevented his medical team from moving forward with the rest of the surgeries he still needs.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 José Ángel remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in delicate condition.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 So far, doctors have only been able to perform one of the surgeries he needs. Because of the blood clots and the risks involved, his medical team has had to postpone his remaining surgeries until it is safe to proceed.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We still don’t know exactly what the coming days, weeks, and months will look like. We know that his recovery will take time and that he will be unable to work while he heals. Right now, our only priority is José Ángel’s health, his recovery, and being by his side as he fights to get back to the life and family waiting for him at home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We created this GoFundMe simply to give anyone who wishes to support us during this unexpected and difficult time a way to do so. There is absolutely no obligation to donate. Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will help our family navigate the financial uncertainty ahead while José Ángel remains hospitalized and unable to work, and as we prepare for everything his recovery may require.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser, keeping José Ángel in your thoughts and prayers, or simply sending us your love and support means more to us than we could ever put into words.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We live in Miami, a city where everyone always seems to be in a hurry, rushing from one place to another. After everything that has happened, I want to take a moment to say something not only as José Ángel’s wife, but simply as a woman whose life changed in a matter of seconds.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Please, take care of yourselves. Take care of your families, and please look out for the people around you. We can go to bed one night believing that tomorrow will be another normal day, without knowing just how quickly life can change. We never imagined that an ordinary morning could turn our entire world upside down.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And to the motorcycle community, I especially want to say: please take care of yourselves and take care of one another. Too often, motorcyclists are overlooked on the road. You are more vulnerable, you are harder for drivers to see, and a single careless decision can change a life and an entire family forever. Look out for one another, ride as safely as you can, and never assume that another driver has seen you.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And to everyone sharing the road with a motorcyclist: please look twice. Slow down. Give them space. Remember that underneath that helmet is a person who is loved and has a family waiting for them at home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Today, that person is my husband.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside José Ángel and our family during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are taking this one day at a time, holding on to hope that soon we will be able to bring him home. ❤️

</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hoy, esa persona es mi esposo.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>

Our Lives Changed in Seconds — Help Bring Jose Angel Home

 Honoring a Real-Life Hero
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Yesterday, I went through a frightening experience when I was robbed in Miami. In a moment when I felt vulnerable and afraid, a complete stranger chose to step in and help me.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Without knowing me and without expecting anything in return, he put his own safety at risk to help stop the person responsible and ultimately helped me recover my belongings
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 It takes courage to help someone when you could simply walk away. His actions reminded me that kindness, humanity, and bravery still exist all around us.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I created this fundraiser as a way for our community to come together and recognize him. 100% of the funds raised will be given directly to this incredible person as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 He didn’t ask for recognition or a reward. He simply saw someone who needed help and chose to act.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Yesterday, a stranger became my hero. Today, I hope we can come together to show him that courage and kindness never go unnoticed.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you to everyone who contributes, shares, or simply helps us recognize someone who
</div>
<div>
 chose to do the right thing.

</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Él no pidió reconocimiento ni recompensa. Simplemente vio a alguien que necesitaba ayuda y decidió actuar.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>

 Help Jorge Rivas Regain His Strength After Surgery Complications
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our family is reaching out during one of the most difficult times we’ve ever faced. After undergoing prostate surgery, our dad, Jorge Rivas, experienced numerous unexpected complications that have completely changed his life.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Since the surgery, he has been bedridden and unable to regain his independence. Being confined to bed for so long has caused him to lose a significant amount of weight and muscle, making even the simplest daily tasks incredibly challenging.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 His recovery will require extensive physical therapy, rehabilitation, and assisted living support so he can safely rebuild his strength and mobility. While he is determined to get back on his feet, the cost of the care he needs has become overwhelming for our family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We’re asking for any help to give him the best chance at recovery. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 * Assisted living expenses
</div>
<div>
 * Physical therapy and rehabilitation
</div>
<div>
 * Medical and recovery-related costs
</div>
<div>
 * Equipment and support needed during his recovery
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family would mean just as much.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult chapter. Every contribution brings our dad one step closer to regaining his strength, independence, and quality of life.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are incredibly grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support
