<div>Today, I need your help!! In an urgent appeal from the bottom of my heart. My family and I are in immense danger that threatens our lives, and we desperately need your help.

<div>Like any young man, I used to have dreams, aspirations, and a desire for a better life, not only for myself but for my family as well. But the Israeli occupation had another opinion and cast a long on our hopes, which made achieving our goals near impossible. We had to put our whole lives on hold and only try to survive day by day, hour by hour. 
</div>
<div>During the past 140 days, "still counting," I encountered death multiple times. Starting before I left our home, counting hours and minutes, hearing the bombing and fealing the floor of our home shaking with each targeting, I thought that we might be the next ones to die.
</div>
<div>We have been forced to be displaced for the first time to Shifaa Hospital. That night was one of the worst nightmares anyone could imagine. In the hospital, we saw all the killed civilians, the body parts of children, and the smell of blood and gunpowder in the air. Once the night passed by, we were told to evacuate the hospital, so we went to my sisters house in Zahra city, we thought it was safe unfortunately it wasn't.In the middle of the night, a voice was calling all the people to evacuate the city. We panicked, and in a rush, we picked up nothing but our souls and ran one more time to sleep in the street while watching all the towers get flattened to the ground and turn into rubble, taking our last shelter away.

<div>We slept that night in the street, wondering what we would do. Until we managed to go to our grandparents' house, it's where we are staying now, but we are still afraid of a third displacement.
</div>
<div>The occupation demolished our homes: my family's home, where I grew up with all my memories, and my sister's house. We have nothing left now, and we face the harsh reality of imminent displacement as soon as this conflict comes to an end or our end comes before. 
</div>
<div>But even in the darkest moments, there is a ray of hope. 
</div>
<div>With your support and contribution, we seek your assistance and support to leave Gaza and evacuate to safety.

<div>Our goal is achievable with your help and sharing. We seek a target of 15 thousand euros to help save four lives, evacuate, and sustain a decent life until we can stand back on our feet to continue pursuing our dreams.

<div>'' My name is Nada Alfarra, and I'm a doctor from Gaza with dreams that reach far beyond the confines of conflict. Recently, I received an invitation to interview for a Chevening Scholarship, a prestigious opportunity that would allow me to study Global Health Management at the University of Greenwich. This degree isn't just a personal milestone; it's a stepping stone to enhancing healthcare for the Palestinian people, especially those displaced by ongoing war, like myself.

<div>Life in Gaza has been fraught with hurdles. From navigating the complexities of obtaining my Medical degree in a rural area to coping with the harsh realities of war, every day brings new challenges. I hail from Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, where simple commutes to university were daily battles. Financial burdens have always loomed large—my family managed to fund half of my tuition fees of 24,000 JOD, exhausting their resources while supporting a household of six, including a brother with cerebral palsy and parents suffering from chronic illnesses. The war has taken a toll too, robbing two of my brothers of their jobs and adding to our financial strain.

<div>Despite these adversities, I've dedicated myself to spreading knowledge and well-being. Since 2018, I've been involved in Open Knowledge initiatives and led the Dadd Stories project, providing free Arabic stories for children, and contributing to leadership development within the international Wikimedia Movement (Yes, the movement behind Wikipedia and many other wonderful open-knowledge projects!).

<div>However, the conflict has left me displaced, jobless after my role with UNRWA was cut, and now living in a tent in Rafah, where I face the added challenge of frequent internet outages that affect my work as a freelancer and a doctor.

<div>Today, I find myself at a crossroads. The Rafah crossing, my only gateway to seizing this educational opportunity and returning to rebuild Gaza's healthcare infrastructure, is closed unless I can afford the $9,000 fee. This fee stands between me and my ability to attend the Chevening interview, a critical step towards realizing my dreams of aiding those in dire need.
