He is from Browndale, Pennsylvania, and just earned the opportunity of a lifetime: a spot in the prestigious Aerospace Academy at Rice University in Houston, Texas, during the summer of 2026! For years, Joshua has committed himself to his studies and his community. He dreams of becoming an engineer and has worked diligently through school to achieve that goal. This academy is not just a summer camp—it is a critical, early gateway to the competitive university environment and specialized training necessary for his career path. The Financial Barrier As a single parent and sole provider for my two children, I am doing everything possible to support Joshua’s ambitions. However, the costs associated with this program are significant and currently exceed our family’s ability to pay. Tuition and Fees: The program tuition is $7,000. Travel and Logistics: We need an estimated $1,000 to cover round-trip airfare to Houston, campus fees, meals, and necessary supplies- the trip is 12 days long.
