My name is Jay, and I’m reaching out because my family is going through a difficult time. My brother hasn’t been able to find a job and is currently homeless, my sister graduated but is still searching for work, and my mom is slowing down and can’t work as much as she used to. I’m the only one able to support them, and it’s been hard watching the people I love struggle every day. I worry constantly about my brother’s safety and whether my family has enough to eat. Building or buying a home for my family would change everything. It would mean no more sleepless nights wondering if my brother is safe or if anyone has eaten. With a home, we wouldn’t have to worry about rent or moving from place to place—we’d just have to cover basic bills and property taxes. This would give us the stability we need to get back on our feet and start building a better future. My dream is to one day create a family compound where we can all thrive together.
