Roger was an amazing father, husband, friend, drummer, skateboarder, plumber, biker, United States Marine veteran, and all-around good guy. He touched the lives of everyone around him with his kindness, humor, and dedication to his family and community. Whether he was holding down a beat on the drums or sharing a laugh, Roger brought joy and energy to every moment. His sudden passing has left his loved ones facing unexpected challenges and expenses.
<br>
<br>
 This fundraiser is to support Roger's wife and kids as they navigate this difficult time. Donations will help cover funeral costs and provide living expenses, giving his family some relief and stability while they grieve and adjust. Your generosity will make a real difference in their lives, helping them honor Roger's memory and move forward.
<br>
<br>
 Roger was always there for others, whether it was fixing a pipe, skating with friends, or lending a hand to someone in need. Now, his family needs our help. We appreciate any kind of support to help make this hard time a little easier. Thank you for standing with Roger's family and showing them that they are not alone.

Support for Roger's Family

<div>My name is Jenny, and I am asking for help for my brother-in-law, <strong>Joel, who is currently fighting for his life in the burn unit after a devastating incident.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On March 30, 2026, Joel was found severely burned in Victorville and had to be airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. He has suffered third-degree burns over approximately 90% of his body and remains in extremely critical condition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our family is completely heartbroken. Joel is a father of three, and his children need him. Watching someone you love go through something this devastating is something you can never be prepared for.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are leaning on our faith during this time, trusting God, and asking for prayers for Joel’s healing, strength, and recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The road ahead is overwhelming. When Joel is able to recover, he will face multiple surgeries, intensive burn care, risk of infection, and a long, painful rehabilitation process that could take months or even years. Burn recovery is one of the most difficult journeys a person can go through, both physically and emotionally.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for help so that Joel can focus on fighting for his life and, if he recovers, on healing and getting back to his children—without the added burden of financial stress.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will go toward:
</div>
<div>•  Physical therapy
</div>
<div>• Specialized burn treatment and wound care supplies once discharged from hospital
</div>
<div>•  long-term rehabilitation assistance
</div>
<div>• Medications and follow-up care
</div>
<div>• Basic living expenses during recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Joel is deeply loved. He is not just a patient—he is a father, a brother, and someone who matters deeply to all of us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No donation is too small. Every dollar helps support Joel in this fight for his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this and keeping Joel in your prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, support, and love during this incredibly difficult time.

Prayers and Support for Joel’s Burn Recovery

<div>Hello Everyone,

</div>

<div>On April 13th, Darin suffered a large stroke. The day before we went to urgent care. He had high blood pressure, experiencing dizziness and had trouble walking. They sent us home. I took him to the ER the following day and there they confirmed he had a stroke. In November, I left my job to be with my parents. My father suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, my father passed away in February. Now, my family is going through this health crisis. Darin is the sole provider as I continue looking for employment. Any donation would be much appreciated or share our story. Darin has been an active person with the community, he coached Ariel in softball and Zack in baseball. People still come up to him, and say, Hi, coach! Darin's work territory is in Chino/Chino Hills so he is known by many local businesses.

</div>

Stand By Darin: A Community's Call

<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re Shelby and Justin, and we’re posting together during one of the toughest times in our journey as small business owners. On Thursday, March 20th, our mobile grooming van was completely destroyed in an accident and fire. We’re incredibly grateful that everyone is safe, but our van—and much of our essential equipment—was lost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This van was the heart of our business. Since opening in 2015 with backyard grooming sessions, we’ve grown our business with the support of an amazing clientele who have become like family. Losing the van means we now have to juggle all appointments in one space, affecting our daily operations and income. Our dedicated team—Cody and Denise—is also impacted, as they currently have no way to groom without the van. Although our insurance covers part of the loss, it doesn’t cover everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re raising funds to:
</div>
<div>• Replace our mobile grooming van ($80,000–$120,000)
</div>
<div>• Purchase essential grooming tools and equipment ($5,000–$20,000)
</div>
<div>• Support our employees during this challenging period
</div>
<div>• Cover lost income while we rebuild
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation and share brings us one step closer to rebuilding our dream and continuing to care for the pets we love. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With heartfelt gratitude,
</div>
<div>Justin and Shelby
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These donations will also help with our upcoming bills as our income has been cut in half. (3/24) trailer repairs $2,700 (3/25) $810.80 insurance. (3/26)$5,614.24 Payroll. (3/27) $450 EIDL SBA loan. (3/31) 689.12 health ins. (4/5) $1,600 Payroll taxes. (4/15) $3,000 taxes IRS.

Help Justin&Shelby Rebuild After A Devastating Van Fire

<div>Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are Chad and Rosa, Landon’s aunt and uncle, and today we are reaching out with heavy hearts but also with hope. Our nephew Landon, an 18-year-old who just graduated high school, was all set to start his journey toward becoming a welder—a trade he’s passionate about. Landon has always been a hardworking kid with big dreams, and he was excited to build a future for himself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, just as he was getting ready to step into this new chapter of his life, <strong>Landon was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system.</strong> This news has been devastating for our family. As a single mom, Landon’s mother Ashley has been hit hard by his diagnosis, but we’re all rallying around Landon with love and support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Landon is staying strong and determined to fight this, but as you can imagine, the medical bills and unexpected expenses are overwhelming. Along with the treatment costs, Landon’s plans for his education and future are now on hold. <strong>We’re asking for your help to ease the financial burden on Landon and his family during this challenging time.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Landon’s treatment and support his journey back to health. Your generosity will also help him continue chasing his dream of becoming a welder once he beats this.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Landon has so much ahead of him, and with your help, we can make sure cancer doesn’t stand in the way of his bright future. Your prayers, thoughts, and donations mean the world to our family, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in this fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>

<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>1. Donate: Every bit helps in covering Landon’s medical expenses and supporting his recovery.
</div>
<div>2. Share: If you can’t donate, please share Landon’s story with others to help spread the word.
</div>
<div>3. Support: Your thoughts, prayers, and kind words are just as valuable during this tough time.
</div>
<div>4. We will use this page to update you on Landon’s progress.

<div>I am heartbroken to share that my father, Perry Kurtz, was tragically killed by a hit-and-run driver on August 15th, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. His unexpected passing has shocked our family and left us facing significant financial challenges as we work to honor him at the end of his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My dad was a well-known and beloved performer in and around Los Angeles all my life. He loved what he did and worked very hard at it every day. I am proud of his successes and the enjoyment he brought to his many friends and fans.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, I currently live in Kansas with the rest of my family, and I am trying to make final arrangements from a distance. This is very difficult for me as I am only 19 years old and never expected to lose my dad at this point in my life. I am looking for help paying for his final expenses and taking care of his personal belongings and obligations. This will include my travel back to Los Angeles to accomplish this. I greatly appreciate any amount you would like to donate or any sharing of this fundraiser so I can take care of my dad the way that he always did his best to take care of me.

Help Support Perry Kurtz's Final Arrangements

<div>On July 18, 2024, I learned that <strong>my dad Chris Campbell passed away unexpectedly</strong>. This is heartbreaking to everyone around him, family and friends. My dad was one of the best men, so loving, caring, kind, funny. Willing to help any and everyone around him. He was loved by many. He left behind me and my little sister, who love him dearly. He was our best friend, our rock, our protector.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Donations will be greatly appreciated, which will cover funeral expenses</strong>, including the cost of the service, cremation, and support for his grieving daughters.

In Memory of Chris Campbell: Funeral and Support

<div>On July 5th, our beloved Carol was tragically involved in a hit and run car accident, just three minutes away from home. Despite her valiant fight, she succumbed to her injuries on July 15th. Carol was a cherished mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend to many whose lives she touched deeply.
</div>
<div>We are devastated by this unexpected loss. In order to give Carol the farewell she deserves, we have established this GoFundMe to assist with funeral expenses. Your support during this incredibly difficult time is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask for your thoughts and prayers for Carol's grieving family.

<div>Hi, my name is Bree and I am raising money for our Dad who was victim to a senseless road rage shooting. He is currently in the ICU but making a miraculous recovery. Anything is much appreciated as he will be 100% responsible for all medical bills without insurance. He will also be out work for an indefinite amount of time. He is a husband and father of 5 and we’re so grateful he’s still with us. Thank you for all the support and prayers. Your prayers are being heard!

<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to take a moment to say "Thank You" to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity! Today we hit our original goal of 15k!! ❤️❤️❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The love and support that has been felt by the Bernhart and the Beatty families, and the rest of Mel's friends and family is hard to put into words. As we all grieve the loss of our Melanie, just seeing and feeling the outpouring of love and care from all of you has been a source of comfort.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this time I will share that the service for Melanie will be on January 27th, 2024 at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier at the breathtakingly beautiful (just like Mel) SkyRose Chapel. Times and other pertinent details will be shared more formally once we have finalized.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unforeseen memorial costs, medical bills, and loss of income have slowed the planning a bit but rest assured the service will be available for all who loved Mel. I have raised our goal a bit to help ease these unexpected costs as we finalize Mel's Memorial.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Love to all ❤️

</div>
<div>Hello, My name is Shannon and I was honored to be Melanie's sister in law. Many have reached out asking what you could do to help. I think we can all agree that one should be able to grieve and plan laying their loved one to rest, without the financial burden of medical bills and other costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Melanie has left behind a legacy of what it truly means to fight hard and never ever give up! She gave her all, in everything she did! She loved everyone and everyone loved her! She cared for everyone and even when she was battling cancer herself and she knew her time was limited, she still found time and offered to help other, especially other cancer thrivers. A few words of advice or encouragement coming from Melanie were so special and meaningful. She has helped so many and I know Mel's tribe will help Neil!
</div>

</div>
<div>From Neil 11/24/2023:
</div>
<div>My world has been shattered and will forever have a missing piece. Melanie passed away peacefully yesterday, 11/23/2023 at 11:31am. She was at home, surrounded by family and I think she held on just long enough for my daughter Lauren to get there and say her goodbye. But also so that Lauren could be there to hold me and be there for Brody.
</div>
<div>On 10/30, we learned that the cancer had spread to her liver, which meant things would be getting worse. Mel would be starting a new chemo, which would be the last treatment option. After this, she wanted to get some bucket list items checked off... She only got a few of them done, but one was to take Brody to his first concert just a few nights later. I know that will be a core memory for him... and for me as well.
</div>
<div>Everything went very quickly since last Monday, 11/13. We learned that the chemo she had just started did not have any effect. Her oncologist told us that hospice was the next step and she likely had weeks left. We tried to plan things as fast as we could but after a week, she had so much trouble breathing that she could no longer get up our stairs and needed a hospital bed.
</div>
<div>Anyone that knew Melanie has been forever impacted by her friendliness, her kindness, her bright smile, and her endless positivity and inspiration. I told Brody that there is no one that doesn't love his mom. I would always joke that she is "Chino Hills Famous" because no matter where we would go, we would run into someone that knew Mel and we'd stop to talk.
</div>
<div>I have always known that she never hesitated to make herself available for anyone that needed her, especially when it was someone dealing with cancer. She would give out her phone number to anyone that needed it, for themselves or for anyone that needed help related to cancer. She took all of those calls, regardless of who they were. Countless times she would be in our room behind closed doors giving support on the phone.
</div>
<div>Over the years, I frequently heard from people how inspirational she was to them. I never took those stories for granted, as I knew that was just who Melanie was. But more recently, there have been friends explaining to me just how important she was to them during times that they really needed support. That she, specifically, is the main reason they got through hard times... by giving her time and emotional support. She has truly left a legacy of positivity.
</div>
<div>Melanie will always be the most amazing mother that I have ever known. She loved Brody with every ounce of her being, and she always will. Nothing got in the way of her being there for him, no matter what he needed. I can only hope to make her proud and continue to do the same for him. Lauren was 2 years old when she first met Melanie... and Mel loved her like her own daughter since that day. She also did anything she could to be there for Lauren for whatever she needed. But Mel didn't think that she was doing anything special or differently than anyone else should do.
</div>
<div>With our grandson, Beckham, entering our lives... her heart was exploding with love for this kid. She lit up whenever that boy was in the room, and this was the same even during her last days.
</div>
<div>Melanie captured my heart the first time we spoke. We worked together and went out on a break one day. She asked to see a picture of Lauren, and then wanted to know everything about her. She had my heart from that day on. She had such a passion for fun, which I loved because it was a bit opposite of how I was. She made sure that our family was doing the fun things in life, and she kept me young. She was always there for me to lean on, even while she was dealing with cancer. She made me laugh and was my best friend in life. I felt her love so truly and deeply... I'm not sure what I will do without her.
</div>
<div>I am so thankful for the family and friends that have been there for me, Brody, and Lauren over the past few weeks and months. Most of all, my sister-in-law Shannon, who stayed with me overnight Wed-Thu when things were getting much worse. I don't know how I would have done it without her there with me sitting beside Mel through the night. Just after midnight, as Mel was not communicating much anymore... Mel perked up a bit, looked directly into my eyes and said "I love you" and smiled. I told her the same and she went back to sleeping. This was the last thing she said, and I will hold that gift in my heart for eternity. She gave that to me, and she held on so that I would be comforted when she left.
</div>
<div>In my favorite song by one of my favorite musicians, Jeff Buckley... "Lover, you should have come over", there is a verse that I have been playing in my head for the past few months and it sums up how my heart is feeling.
</div>
<div>It's never over
</div>
<div>My kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
</div>
<div>It's never over
</div>
<div>All my riches for her smiles
</div>
<div>When I slept so soft against her
</div>
<div>It's never over
</div>
<div>All my blood for the sweetness of her laughter
</div>
<div>It's never over
</div>
<div>She is a tear that hangs inside my soul forever
</div>

For Neil Bernhart in Memory of Melanie Bernhart

<div>Hi, my name is Wendy. My husband Ryan suffered a trauma to his head that revealed a severe neurological disorder. On August 2nd we received the results of long-awaited neurological tests and it was revealed that Ryan suffers from Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, a fatal condition. Ryan is 48 years old and a dedicated Firefighter for US Forestry Service (private contract). While on duty, a falling tree struck him in the back of the head. This injury caused trauma which then revealed the CJD condition. Ryan needs 24-hour care for the rest of his life. He requires help with all simple day-to-day tasks and supervision at all times. Needless to say, his failing health requires expensive care the family was not prepared for. We are putting all our resources together to fund Ryan's day-to-day care, but we need your help and support. Any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated and will be put towards providing the necessary care for Ryan to carry on a comfortable and dignified life in our new reality.  UPDATE: RYAN JON PALMER died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on 09/23/23.  Thank you all for the love, support and kind words that has helped us during this battle.  Ryan rests in paradise now.

<div>Hi my name is Alexia, I'm building this fundraiser for my cousin Santino Burrola.
</div>
<div>He is the man in the video who captured criminals in action and was fired from his position for doing so.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a former military police officer, he did what he thought was right in order to capture criminals. So far one arrest has been made out of the three criminals and the authorities are still searching for the other two individuals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was not given severance pay and is planning to move to Florida to be closer to his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These donations will help him with his move to Florida, and cover any legal fees if needed. Hopefully, companies there can appreciate his good act.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am also helping him look for any attorney recommendations to see if he has a case and if any legal action can be taken.
</div>

</div>
<div><br />

<span style="color:rgb(127,127,127);">Hello everyone. I am Peter’s older sister, Shawna. I am heartbroken and saddened to share that my brother has left his earthly home and moved to his eternal home in Heaven. We rejoice for him because he has been made perfect, but we also miss him so much more than words can say. If you knew Peter, you knew he was a solid friend, who cared about and always loved others, but he loved his kids more than anything! He has two daughters and two sons. They do not have the funds to take care of his burial expenses, and we would all be very grateful for any help you can give. If there is any money left after these expenses are paid for, it will be equally split and given directly to his surviving children. There is an ongoing investigation so please do not ask any of the family members questions or for details. We thank you for respecting our privacy as well. Wether or not you are able to give, we would appreciate your prayers - we need them . As you all can imagine, this is very devastating and hard on our entire family. Due to their injuries, they won’t be able to return to work for a long time so we want to help lighten the burden of food and home necessities that will occur. If you can, please help support this sweet little family. Please keep praying for a full recovery for both of them.

<div>Hi, My name is Seryna. The man in that video is my father. He has worked at his job for 27 years and yes, he has never missed a day of work. He originally began working at this job as a single father when he gained custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago. Then as our family grew and he remarried, he continued to work there because of the amazing health insurance that was provided through this employer because it was unionized. This got all four of his daughters through high school and college with full healthcare coverage. <br /><br />My dad continues to work there, because though he does look young, he is coming up on retirement age and leaving would cost him his retirement. In no way are we asking for money or is he expecting any money but if anyone feels like blessing him he would love to visit his grandchildren.

<div>Most of you already know that a couple months ago, the adult industry lost its beloved documentarian, friend, and mentor Julius Kedvessy, aka JFK from The FUBAR Times.

<div>What many may not know is that Julius has five beautiful grandkids who are now facing their first Christmas without their loving and doting Grandpa J.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>To honor his memory and help his family through this first difficult holiday season, this Gofundme was created to give us a chance to show our love. Please contribute whatever you can and prove once again that we of the adult industry really are like an extended family who are here to support one another, both in good times and bad.

<div>Bobby Gayle Jr. is the victim of a senseless, racially motivated hate crime. He was shot 7 times while working in Stockton, CA, on October 8, 2021. He was shot by the perpetrator, who was driving recklessly, after he and his fellow coworker/friend told the suspect to "slow down!" The perpetrator attempted to first hit Bobby and his coworker with his vehicle and failed. The perp proceeded to get out of the car with a loaded gun, point it in their direction as he yelled racial epithets and slurs at the victim and his friend. They placed their hands up and begged for him to not shoot them. The perp fired without mercy and struck Bobby 7 times. Bobby was able to roll under a truck and seek some cover. His friend was able to escape unscathed and later came back to aid Bobby and contact emergency services. Fortunately, Bobby is in stable condition after sustaining 7 got shot wounds and is recovering surrounded by loved ones. Unfortunately, the suspect has not yet been located. Update: (As of 10/14 the suspect has been found)!!!
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Bobby is a hardworking, God-fearing man, who is extremely loved, valued, and a beacon of light for many who know him. He is a wonderful father, brother, husband, and son. He is an example of someone who loves the Lord and shows an immense amount of love to everyone around him. He is quick to be of service to others in need without hesitation and sets the bar very high when it comes to his construction job and overall work ethic.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>During this time, we are asking for any donations to help with his medical and rehabilitation expenses as he has been in the hospital and will continue to be for some time. Also, given the traumatic nature of this event, these funds will also help his family tremendously, as they stay by his side and comfort him during this time of healing. Any amount will help Bobby and his family immensely.
</div>

<div>Thank you.

<div>(New photos under "updates") We got our home back Sept 10th, 2021!!! *Link to the story* <a href="https://abc30.com/fresno-family-home-squatters/11221342/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://abc30.com/fresno-family-home-squatters/11221342/</a> Thank you to everyone who donated and everyone that was a part of helping us get our home back! We truly appreciate every one of you! My family and I are so excited to have our home back! Unfortunately our home was returned to us in pretty bad shape so we're working on having people come and make it a bit safer for my kids to be in. We're also working on replacing the carpets since they had animal feces with some of it stuck and smeared in spots. We're hoping to repair the hole in the wall soon and we had someone come deep clean the same day! Your donations have helped us so much and our family is very grateful! Thank you!

UPDATE Help My Family get back our New Home!!!

<p>Thank you for taking the time to read Kristen's story. My name is Melissa Syverson (Kristen's Aunt) and I've put this fundraiser together to help Kristen, her husband Keith, and new baby Summer Reign McMullen with the financial burden they're currently in the middle of due to COVID-19.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Kristen dreamed of being a mom and after several years of fighting an uphill battle, her and her husband Keith, received the good news that they were expecting. This bundle of joy is the first great grandchild in the family and we couldn't have been happier for her and her little growing family. With approximately 5 weeks left, we gave her an amazing baby shower to celebrate the upcoming addition.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>About 3 weeks prior to her due date, Kristen started developing COVID-19 symptoms. Things progressed quickly and she ended up in the hospital with an official "positive" test as well as confirmation of having COVID pneumonia. She was in the hospital for 4 days at this point and was sent home with antibiotics. After less than 48 hours she returned to the hospital not able to breath and worried about her unborn baby. Her husband Keith wasn't allowed to enter the hospital at the time and a few short hours later received a heart wrenching call that he needed to come to the hospital ASAP due to baby and mama not doing well. I can only imagine what was running through his mind at the time. Keith waited almost 2 hours while they did an emergency c-section and was able to see his wife and their new addition, Summer Reign. Kristen was able to hold her baby girl for a few short minutes before she was rushed off to ICU. Keith did an amazing job being a new dad and caring for Summer while she was in the hospital.
</p><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/58903435_1628003363959417_r." width="100%" />
<p>Kristen has now been in ICU since July 27th. We are all praying for a miracle but at this point she has a long road to recovery. We're being told that she has a long way to go with an unknown amount of time in ICU. Kristen is on 100% oxygen with an additional CPAP machine and almost went on a ventilator yesterday. The doctors are re-evaluating her situation by the minute and have cut off communication between Kristen and our family at this point because of her condition. Kristen was able to watch the baby through facetime up until a few days a go.
</p><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/58903435_1628003557499182_r." width="100%" />
<p>This young family is facing a large amount of unknown medical expenses. Unfortunately Kristen does not have short or long term disability and will not be getting any type of compensation while out of work during her recovery. I'm helping to raise money to cover her medical expenses, monthly bills including rent, car payment, insurance, monthly expenses and everything that comes with having a new baby. Kristen's husband has taken a second job to try to cover some of their living expenses but without Kristen's income and with the other financial burdens they need our help.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Please donate and share the page to everyone you know. Help give this young family relief from their financial hardships while Kristen fights for her life to recover and to
</p>
<p>come home to her newborn baby and family. If you can't donate please pray for Kristen, Keith, and baby Summer. God works miracles and we have faith that He will work this out.
</p>
<p><br />
</p>
<p>Thank you for your generosity and your prayers!!

New Mom Kristen McMullen Lost Her Fight w COVID

Thank you all for your generosity. Dora Molina, who is Tomas' wife asked me, Alejandra Valles, Secretary Treasurer of SEIU USWW, Tomas' labor union, to set this fundraiser up for her. Dora Molina will be the beneficiary of this GoFundMe. The funds raised will go directly to Dora Molina, Tomas' wife, and will help with Tomas' funeral and burial expenses. We also learned that Tomas had recently bought his first home. Tomas was the sole breadwinner for his family. We are going to continue this fundraiser so that Tomas' family can stay in the home and not have to experience any displacement. <br /><br />Our brother, Tomas Mejia, was tragically murdered on June 16th. He was stabbed to death while preventing an intruder from entering the apartment building where he was working. He died as he lived, as a protector and hero. Tomas is survived by his wife and children. He was the sole provider for his family who asked his union to set up this page to help them through this difficult time.<br /><br />Tomas was a union member, a member of the SEIU-USWW executive board, and a critical part of every struggle and victory that his union had over the last 25 years. He was a person of strong moral character and a strong leader for SEIU-USWW.<br /><br />Tomas dedicated his life to protecting working people. He was a Peer-to-Peer advocate in the Ya Basta Center, also known as a Compadre; who fought against patriarchy, sexual violence, domestic violence, and the dangers that immigrant workers face on the night shift as janitors.<br /><br />Rest in power Tomas Mejia. His spirit of fighting for others will live through all of us that he has touched over the years. Tomas Mejia, warrior, friend, leader, husband and father.

I am reaching out in hopes of finding support for our neighbor Ryo.<br />A few months ago Ryo was taken away by ambulance, some weeks after that a crew was in the hallway cleaning out his apartment and we thought he had died, in fact a friend of his set up a memorial to him in front of his building at 133 Ave D asking if anyone knew what had happened to him. <br /><br />Yesterday Ryo returned home after hospitalization and months of COVID rehabilitation.  He arrived to the building to find his locks changed and his apartment emptied out except for his piano and tortoise (who was left alone for months). He had worked throughout the pandemic as a restaurant worker. He initially got sick in October and was hospitalized in January.<br /><br />He has no shoes, no toothbrush, no documents or ID, no passport, no fridge or stove. <br /><br />He needs assistance to get his life back and move forward. What the management has done is so inhumane and I’m pretty sure very illegal. <br /><br />A-Rod owns the building - <a href="https://evgrieve.com/2019/07/a-rod-owns-part-of-this-building-on.html">EV Grieve has posted about it.</a><br /><br />If you are able to contribute non-monetary donations, we'll be collecting donations at  Lovewild Design- 136 Ave C/9th St. We’re open 12-6pm Wednesday to Sunday. <br /><br />He’s medium build, wears men’s 9.5/10 shoes wide, 38 waist and cannot take in perishable food yet until building management installs a fridge.<br /><br />Here's a spreadsheet on what has been donated-<br /><br /><a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BP6vPuRFhBmAvlMYqijjDRoV2s82m3U4DSNYqdETQxQ/edit?usp=sharing"><a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BP6vPuRFhBmAvlMYqijjDRoV2s82m3U4DSNYqdETQxQ/edit?usp=sharing" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BP6vPuRFhBmAvlMYqijjDRoV2s82m3U4DSNYqdETQxQ/edit?usp=sharing</a></a><br /><br />Ryo is very shy and humble so we are not sharing photos of him at this moment beyond his tortoise.

This is Mikayla, my 12 year-old daughter - and Sean, a homeless gentleman who found her grandmother's wallet in a dumpster and returned it with everything in it. An unlikely pair, whose lives became intertwined from one act of honesty and another of generosity.<br /><br />You may have seen their story on <a href="https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/bay-area-proud/12-year-old-raises-money-for-homeless-man-who-returned-grandmothers-lost-wallet/2431364/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBC Bay Area Proud</a> on Christmas Eve and more recently in <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2021/01/06/homeless-wallet-return-dumpster-fundraiser/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Washington Post</a>. What began with a lost wallet, progressed into Mikayla's drive-by birthday fundraiser, and has now seeded a friendship with the entire family.<br /><br />How can you help?<br />In the short-term, we would like to get Sean off of the streets and into a temporary housing situation that keeps him safe and warm. He is currently on the waiting list to receive one of the fifty (50) coveted Marin County Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers which will assist him with a more permanent solution.<br /><br />In the long-term, with your assistance, we would like to partner with Sean to create a sustainable row of tiny houses for the San Rafael homeless community at large, using his design and construction experience.<br /><br />This isn't about charity. It's about Compassion, the highest form of LOVE.<br /><br />Please share far and wide so that we may collectively be a part of the solution to end homelessness. Let's learn from our children to plant a seed and watch it grow...<br /><br />THANK YOU!!!

Tonester Paints is a local artist based in Athens, Ohio and makes paint mixing content for Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube. He used to work at a paint store and recongized that users were enjoying and engaging with his paint content. He had developed a buisness plan to show his marketing department how they could develop brand awareness through these channels. Once he made the plan, the VP of Marketing had told him there was no need for him to see the presentation at the time. Tonester Paints then started purchasing his own paint and contunied to use creative ways to engage his audience. A few months later, Loss Prevention of the company fired him for “Gross Misconduct” because people were calling customer service to ask about his videos. After he had been fired, he made a studio in his friends basement to keep making the paint videos and his working on developing his own brand.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, my dad and his neighbors were evacuated by helicopter due to the Woolsey Fire. A sweet soul was taken too soon from her family due to a domestic violence tragedy on June 3, 2018.<br /><br />Mary just turned 49 and was a beaming light to all. Mary loved the Lord and ready to begin her new chapter in her life with God by moving to another state, sell her home and excited to grow in her work all while being her independent, strong and beautiful person that she was.    <br /><br />She leaves behind her mother, 2 sisters, a multitude of family, friends and co-workers that loved her dearly.  But most of all, she was taken away from her 2 young children.  <br /><br />We want to ease any financial burden that come after loosing someone suddenly.   This memorial fund will help pay off the mortgage, any unpaid bills, take care of the children who were her pride &amp; joy, grief counseling and  establish a nest egg for each of them in the future.  <br /><br />Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.  <br /><br />Although broken, we thank you with all of our hearts.  <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30397848_15282320020_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="30397848_15282320020_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30397848_15282320180_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="30397848_15282320180_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30397848_15282320370_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="30397848_15282320370_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30397848_15282320530_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="30397848_15282320530_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/30397848_15282320710_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="30397848_15282320710_r.jpeg" />

This is my daughter, Cora. This morning she and both her grandparents, her mother, her uncle, her two younger brothers and younger sister were involved in a house fire. Cora, my daughter, received 2nd degree burns on her arms and face, but thankfully everyone made it out alive, including their two puppies. However, they have lost almost everything and will have to start over so this page has been created to help in assisting Cora and her family with the money necessary to purchase the items they will need to begin a new chapter in their life. Of course, any non-monetary donations are also welcomed, please message me for drop off information. Thank you in advance for your help, your donations are greatly appreciated by all.

To all of you who know Riley McLendon I'm sure you know that life is not so good for him. He is homeless living on the streets and not mentally well. The weather is changing, its getting cold and rain is on it's way. Since it's Christmas season I thought it would be great to try and raise some money to put him in a hotel and get him out of the cold and some shelter. Mountain inn on Mountain Ave. told me that their weekly rate is $358.00 including tax so I'd like to try and raise $1432.00 If you'd like to contribute please let me know asap, it would be greatly appreciated, and any amount will help! . I'd like to get at least the first week taken care of right away because the rain is on its way. Thanks and God Bless!

*My brother <b>John</b> and <b>I</b> have created this fundraiser to raise money to help support our dear
friend, <b>Jeff</b> and his family. Jeff is a long time friend that we have known for <b>many</b> years. John and Jeff grew up as <b>best friends</b> and have a long lasting friendship. We always welcome Jeff with open arms to <b>our family</b> partys, vacations, and gatherings just as if he were <b>one of our own</b>. As most of you know, due to the <b>horrific</b> event that had taken place at the <b>Boston Marathon</b> this year, Jeff was severely <b>injured</b>. Throughout this difficult time we want to help in
every which way we possibly can to get Bauman back on track as <b>soon</b> as
possible.<br>*Medical bills are going to start rolling in, let's get a head start on<b>
