<div>This move is something I’ve been working toward for a long time, but between the cost of moving, legal expenses related to my ongoing custody case, and the challenges of relocating my home base while continuing to serve clients throughout North Georgia and Metro Atlanta, meeting these upfront costs all at once is a significant challenge.

<div>I am still working every opportunity I can find. I’m actively taking tree work, pruning, vine removal, property cleanup jobs, and even supplementing my income through rideshare driving when needed. I’m doing everything I can to make this transition successful.

<div>My name is Victoria Bradfield and I'm reaching out to share the journey of my precious daughter, Juniper. She was born very healthy in every way, and for her first nine months, she thrived. She met all her milestones in the beginning. Juniper was a vibrant baby, sitting up by six months, naming her toys, saying her first words, pointing to her body parts, rolling over, and laughing; she was full of energy.

<div>As time passed we noticed that Juniper began to plateau with her development. She began to slowly develop in some places, but then she started to regress in others.

<div>To support her the past year, we sought vision therapy, extensive labs, physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, aqua therapy, functional nutrition, functional neurology, and most recently paid $15,000 to journey to Iowa and attend a two-week intensive therapy at a Functional Neurology Clinic. With all that being said, we have had steady improvements and we have gotten amazing answers and guidance and now know how to help her to the best of our ability. We found out Juniper has PANS. A treatable immune response due to environmental stressors that causes brain inflammation.

<div>We are feeling so blessed and grateful to have the guiding light from our specialists to ensure what therapies are going to bring Juniper the most results in her development. We are looking to do everything we can as soon as possible. <strong>Juniper is in the most crucial stage of development where she has the most potential for healing and brain plasticity.</strong> We are aiming to give Juniper intensive  therapy, homeopathy, laser therapy, and continuing functional medicine. Each of these therapies are not cheap and also involves travel expenses. Additionally, we are purchasing other therapy tools to continue our healing journey at home, as I am a stay-at-home mom who works with Juniper every day. Unfortunately advanced modern therapy and technology is not covered by medical insurance, but is arguably the most promising solution for children with delays these days with additional medical care.

Skylar's Memorial and Medical Bills

<div>I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, Ariel (Alice) Boyd, for medical, vet and personal expenses. She's become chosen family to me over the last 13 years or so, my big sister/auntie. Ariel, a single elder on a fixed retirement income, had a stroke on Mother's Day weekend in May of 2023. She was hospitalized for 4 weeks with 3 therapies on each weekday: Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. It wore her out and her mind/body was overwhelmed, but each of these was and still is critical for her ongoing recovery. When she was discharged, the hospital social worker indicated that she was all set up for home healthcare to continue these vital therapies. Unfortunately, that was not the case (which we've discovered can be common for elder care upon discharge from facilities).

<div>Home healthcare was hit or miss and she went for a few weeks without any therapy, only a visit from a nurse and a social worker. It was all very confusing for her as she attempted to sort out who could help her with her basic needs (a bath, how to get to appointments, food/groceries, etc). As a single elder, with an intermittent voice, she had no one else to advocate for her. There was a lot of misinformation from multiple sources; It took a LOT of energy for her to get help in place so she could function again.
</div>

<div>She had to learn to ask for help. It was embarrassing, exhausting, exasperating and frightening for her. She lives an hour from many of her Athens tribe and has been somewhat isolated since 2020's Covid World Show, so she had to remember how to reach out. Her beloved elder cat had to be boarded for months and then died soon after returning home. Ariel was devastated.
</div>

<div>When she was released by the hospital to go home, she could barely fend for herself at first. She was tired, weak, off balance and had a few falls, calling 911 on more than one occasion. Friends and neighbors helped out as they were able but everyone has their own stuff and lives going on. She didn't want to be a burden, but she needed help. Through Meals on Wheels contacts and some local friends, she learned to depend on the kindness of strangers, many who have become her friends. There have been big challenges; There have been huge blessings!
</div>

</div>
<div>The stroke affected her dominant hand/arm and leg and made her voice dysphonia worse. What
</div>
<div>this means for her new world order is that she 1) has more difficulty (than before) communicating verbally, 2) cannot write or type legibly without great difficulty, and 3) cannot drive as yet and must depend on others for transportation. For many months, she was in survival mode, trying to find her way. She has regained some use of the 2 affected limbs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The stroke left her stressed, confused, and it took her several months to feel that she could come out of a fog enough to start to look into her personal affairs, which languished after the stroke. That is when she realized that she's gotten rather into financial straits, even moreso with annual property taxes. Fortunately, she did get a better insurance policy this Fall and has been able to start back with twice weekly physical and occupational therapy again. She figured out who to contact for transport to those appointments.
</div>

<div>Progress has been made on many fronts. She's gotten help clearing/cleaning the house. Her cell phone was repeatedly dropped while in hospital so the screen was nearly obliterated, it blinked off/on and she couldn't tell when calls or texts came in. This further isolated her. I was able to help her in October to get a replacement so she now has better capacity for communication.
</div>

</div>
<div>She is often tired/exhausted by her therapies each week so still hasn't been able to return the calls/texts from beloved friends (typing takes her forever). Please know if you left her a message that she has told me how much she treasures them, and the mailed cards as well. All your prayers and love have lifted her up.
</div>

<div>I have been very impressed that she has kept going through every hit,  every fail, every adversity and challenge that has crossed her path this year. She never thinks of giving up. She never cried until October when we had a long, heart to heart sit-down. Experiencing this stroke has created a lot of grief for her. Still though, she's like a recovering Energizer Bunny... she picks up that drumstick when it falls, and slowly lifts it and finds the will to move forward again.

<div>She and I don't like to focus on limitations. I've only shared these here because we've concluded

<div>that she needs financial assistance to get her affairs back in the black. It would help alleviate

Ariel Boyd's Fundraiser: Surviving a Stroke

<div>Many of you already know that Bruce Bowron, loving father to Robin and Jenna, and gracious Grandad to Jack and Lulu, left his body on Friday, August 11th, after a rather quiet but long struggle with cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bruce spent the last year and a half of his life as a member of Robin and her husband, Phil’s, household. As his health declined, various expenses began accruing for Robin and Phil, as they did their best to meet Bruce’s palliative needs. We are now carrying out Bruce’s wish of cremation, and facing the cost of that as well as a humble memorial gathering to be held in Massachusetts this fall.

<div>Those who knew him described Bruce as dead-pan funny, clever, witty, kind, musical, creative, and an avid reader. Those who knew him well knew that he also struggled with mental health his whole life, faced with one challenging trauma after another. Bacterial meningitis in 2012 left him disabled, limiting his ability to work.
</div>

</div>
<div>From 2016 to 2022, Bruce was a dedicated Grandad to Jack, providing secondary care after Jack’s dad, Matt, passed away. While Bruce floundered to function as an income-generating “productive adult” in society, he flourished as a Grandad, creating a priceless bond and warming the hearts of all who got to see him in this role. 
</div>

<div>Robin and Jenna are his surviving twin daughters, and are both mothers to young children themselves. Jenna is also a widow, and both sisters are building their own individual healing practices. Phil, Robin’s husband, is also a business owner, struggling to recover from the impacts of Covid.

<div>Anything you are able to contribute to our loving and grieving family will be gratefully received and used for the necessary expenses.

Bruce Bowron Cremation & Memorial Costs

<div>In January 2022 I had a femur fracture. During that hospital visit they found lesions on my bones, nodules on my lungs and fluid around the spinal bones. At first they thought it was a cancer. After doing two biopsies they said it was possibly an infection. I finally got discharged and felt pretty well. After a few weeks at home, I started to experience a piercing and really intense back pain.

<div>I went back to the doctor and they told me it was an abscess in one of my back muscles. After trying to drain it, which they couldn’t because the fluid inside was too thick to drain, I left to go back home. They biopsied that fluid and nothing came back positive. 
</div>

<div>Because of the fracture I have not been able to work and make money. I’m still experiencing piercing back pain coupled with low blood counts and nutrition deficiencies due to my appetite being suppressed as a side affect of the pain meds. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I plan to do IV nutrient and antioxidant boost therapies ASAP. These therapies will help decrease oxidative stress in my body and help my body fight whatever’s going on. It will help me get the Vitamin C, Glutathione, Iron and other trace nutrients and infusions that I need to help my body bounce back. If you would, please donate whatever you can to help me get the therapy that I really need.

We believe the current Brazilian government has done this to remove them from the conversation about plans to rapidly deforest the Amazon, build a train in the middle of the part of the Forest where they live and block their communication with the outside world. <br /><br />Haru Kuntanawa, leader of the Kuntanawa people says, "let's create a link to guarantee communication in order to integrate our people. Communication is sacred to humans and we need to guarantee our right to remain connected for the well-being of all our people and to make the lives smoother for those who live in the most isolated places like us. Communication isn't a luxury, it is a vehicle that helps us protect ourselves and the Forest!" <br /><br />The great Amazon Forest and her People are under intense attack right now from the current Brazilian government and companies seeking to profit from the Amazon. This Forest is not only for those who call it home, it is for the world as she helps to balance the Global Climate. <br /><br />The Kuntanawas who are one of the many groups of Forests Guardians are creating international alliances to help protect their People and the Forest but they need to maintain contact with the outside world to accomplish this. Their right to communication has been taken away and they need our help to get it back.<br /><br /><strong>$2300USD is needed in the next week to install satellite internet in their village located in the State of Acre deep in the Amazon. CONNECT THE KUNTANAWAS THROUGH SATELLITE INTERNET

My name is Linzi Machini. I started college at the University of Georgia in Fall 2008. I am now 27 years old and I am graduating from UGA on May 5th this year! My journey with school has been an arduous one. I had to leave school for about four and a half years and thankfully those years were some of the most healing years of my life!!! With graduation around the corner, all of my hard work is beginning to pay off in a big way! A few weeks ago I was accepted to a wonderful language program based out of Tanzania. It is the Fulbright Hays Intermediate Kiswahili Language Program. Thankfully the grant for the program covers much of my fees, including my flight, room and board, food, etc. I have to pay a $1,000 program fee. I want to raise more than that for my visa, water bottles, and emergencies!!! That will total in $1,000 more!!! <br />Learning Kiswahili will be an amazing opportunity for me. I am Kenyan American, and I've loved growing up here in the States. There are a few things, though, that I feel like I'm missing. I want to deepen my connection with my heritage. Learning Kiswahili would<br />open doors for great jobs, and also offer a closer connection with my family (especially my grandmother who does not speak English).<br /><br />Finally, one of my long standing dreams is to go to India. Two years ago, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher certification! There is an incredible teacher training program in Mysor, India that I would like to participate in. It is a 4 week program that begins in September of this year. Just after the program in Tanzania ends, I hope to travel to India to learn more about yoga! The fees are about $1,000 and I would need about $1,000 more than that for emergencies, travel within the country and for my flight to India.<br /><br />Yoga, along with strong and compassionate family and friends, has been a pivotal part of my healing. Even teaching yoga classes has become such an empowering aspect of my healing. It will be a blessing for this devoted yogi to travel to the birthplace of yoga, India. I hope that one day I can inspire people with yoga the same way it has inspired me.<br /><br /> $4,000 is a lot of money, but I have faith that the money will come! I have a wonderful Communtiy here in Athens and all over the world!! I know that together we can achieve anything!! Thank you so much, for helping me to achieve my dreams.
