I am the sole caregiver and provider for my Deaf, elderly & handicapped seventy (70) year old parents who require me to live with them and be there for them 24/7. I have no help or support from others as I am the only living child.
When it rains, it pours, as they always say. With that said, please know that we, or me & my parents, have had much more than rain poured onto us within the last 30-60 days, which has become nearly unbearable, extremely overwhelming, and stressful for me as I try to help us survive. They now must depend on me and me only to get us through, with God above me and first, though our faith is running thin, sadly enough.
We had two vehicles. My dad wrecked theirs into a pole at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Smithville Road in Dayton on a rainy Sunday (just happened to be the Sunday I did not take them to church) and then hit the garage door shortly thereafter, causing serious damage to the garage door and the car. Due to serious damage to their car from both incidents, which were not claimed to insurance, and needing some funds for bills, I told them we could just sell their car. We used $2,500 to get a cheap 2012 GMC Acadia work car or SUV (nothing fancy), and I gave them my new 2021 White Chevy Blazer as they are the reason I got the car anyway, being the one who gets them practically everywhere.
Not even 30 days later, after buying it, mine blew up unexpectedly on December 19th, 2025, on my way home from work at a job where I worked 50-65 hours a week to try to keep my parents and us afloat. They had their funds embezzled through a banker and others, which will hopefully be proven and restitution made someday soon. On that same date, my mother, who is on a walker, was forced to come get me as I was on my way home from work and broke down. Later, we found out my car or SUV had blown up and had to be junked.
Upon my mother's arrival, she wrecked the white 2021 Chevy Blazer, sideswiping a pole or ODOT type of trailer on church property where my blown-up vehicle was located as I awaited my tow truck and her arrival in freezing cold weather. Huber Heights Police were on the scene, and an officer helped me push the vehicle out of the road into the church driveway.
Then, on December 28th, 2025, my father wrecked the 2021 White Chevy Blazer at Old Troy Pike Kroger's in Huber Heights, Ohio, by backing into another vehicle, causing damage to the hatchback, making it very difficult to open. I desperately needed such to get him and mom's walkers in and out of the car, especially since I just had the 2012 GMC Acadia blow up, which I had just bought a mobile scooter car hauler for, along with mobile scooter ramps/railing for a handicap accessible front door for them. I had hoped to have them both new mobile scooters for Christmas, but such got messed up with Amazon, and we never did get them due to later not having enough money when I was able to reorder such. Dad was having knee surgery, and I wanted him to have more mobility for that, along with mom, so they could look over each other better while I was at work, etc. However, they both now need them at least when going places, so I was just thinking ahead and doing my best to position them for mobility and independence despite declining health and insurance practically stating they would not fund or pay for such until after they were to fall or injure themselves worse than they already are.
Anyways, I now leave work on December 26th, 2025, and get home to receive an email advising my job that I truly loved or enjoyed had ended my assignment for no apparent reason and definitely no reason or fault of my own after 10+ months of nothing but hard work and dedication to my job and employer where I intended or had planned to make a great long career.
So, now here I am trying to get my unemployment filed and have been to Job & Family Services trying to get help, but they cannot or won't help, and I still cannot get access online to initiate my claim to start drawing such, all while our auto insurance is up to $550 a month due to dad's wrecks mainly, a car payment of $726 a month, a house payment of $1,466 a month, a water bill of around $250 every three months, home phones for deaf & hearing both along with required internet for Video Relay Service for the Deaf, and our personal cellphone bills of around $210 a month, $40 co-payments every time I take dad or mom to doctors, and on and on with dad only receiving enough of an SSD check to pay the house payment and mom only receiving enough of an SSD check to buy groceries, leaving me with the rest. I did not mention or state them all as the above-mentioned ones are only about half of our bills, if that.
Now, on January 8th, 2026, Thursday, my father goes out to the store to Walmart to get medicines as I stay home to try to work on unemployment filing again along with a test or assessment for my new job opportunity at Honda. He has a license, and he wanted to drive, so I never stopped him. He has another bad crash, now leaving us with what appears to be a very totaled vehicle and no other extra vehicle to drive but plenty of doctors' appointments, testing, and bills along with no income except their SSD suddenly and me now nearly being or getting trapped into no work opportunities or income, which will quickly cause us to go bankrupt and lose everything.
Thankfully & gratefully, despite auto insurance being due on December 27th, 2025, I just got it paid today in the amount of $513.00 along with a $726 car payment and a $237 water bill for the City of Dayton, but I am officially bankrupt financially and nearly mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as a human being can only do so much or handle so much, and I am at my limits.
I so desperately need help, support, blessings & miracles for me and my parents so that I can continue to care for them & provide for them all while getting back to work ASAP, but without this type of support or help, it's just not going to be possible for me or them.
In closing, I thank anyone and everyone who is willing or able to help me and my family and me to continue to care for and provide for my family or parents as it would be so very much appreciated and for such a great, genuine, and sincere or legit cause that I assure you the good Lord above will bless you tenfold for. But if you cannot help financially, then please just pray for my family and maybe even start some prayer circles for my family as this storm we are going through is beyond rain or pouring but instead it is wicked and treacherous. Thank you all so much in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.
(Please know anyone is welcome to text me on my cell at [phone redacted] and ask me questions, ask me for other pictures or verifications of anything I stated above, and I will provide you such to further verify me and my family or parents are being honest & legit and truly are a family in serious need.)
Sincerely Yours, James Williams, IV of 4414 Blue Iris Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45404 on behalf of, in best interest of and in care of father, James Williams, III & mother Freda Williams (326)-220-6904 (James Williams, IV Personal Cell #)
