Help Rajah Get Urgent Vet Care

I wanted to provide a Chiquita update to all of you. She was hospitalized 11/13 for low blood sugars. It will almost be two weeks since that happened and I’m happy to say her blood sugars have not dropped since. We lowered her insulin dosage and she has another appt for a blood glucose curve on 12/3. She also has a full eye recheck on 12/4. 
I want to thank you all for donating towards Chiquita’s care. You’ve all helped make getting the best care for her possible. Chiquita has chronic long term problems and will always need specialty veterinary care. I humbly ask that if you can, to please consider donating $5 to her care if you can.

Because of you she was able to heal from aspiration pneumonia, get her eye cataract surgery and a visit with the cardiologist and an echo. I’ve updated the total goal of this fundraiser because it’s clear Chiquita will need specialty veterinary care for the rest of her life. She’s diabetic and sees her internist regularly. Chiquita has triscupid valve disease and will need to see her cardiologist and have a repeat echo in a year or two. More concerning now is Chiquita has elevated eye pressure in her left eye. While we were able to bring it down to normal with medicine, we now need to make sure it stays normal; and with that comes more visits to the ophthalmologist. Each visit is $220. I’ve raised my goal in case anyone can spare $5 to help Chiquita. Thank you ❤️ <br /><br />I started this gofundme 7/31 because Chiquita was unexpectedly hospitalized for aspiration pneumonia. I’ve kept this Gofundme page up in the hopes to continue to raise money for Chiquita’s ongoing care. She has an appt Sunday 9/3 for a blood glucose curve, 9/5 with an ophthalmologist, and another appt in October. Thank you all for your support! <br /><br /><br />Many of you know of my sweet girl Chiquita. She has been through so much including aspiration pneumonia, 2 leg surgeries; she has epilepsy, diabetes, IBD amongst other things. Her care is very expensive and she is on medicine 4 times a day. She is worth every Penny and all the hard times that come with having a fur baby with chronic illnesses. <br /><br />I’m asking for your help because today 7/31 I had to rush her to the ER because she kept coughing and was coughing up white foam. The doctor says she has aspiration pneumonia once again and will need to be hospitalized for 48 hours and be in an oxygen tank. <br /><br />I’m disabled and only receive so much on disability. I need your help please to help Chiquita receive the care she needs and deserves.  I’ve included the treatment plan estimate. Help Chiquita with her health care needs ❤️

My daughter Heather, has recently been diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer. She will have to undergo plastic surgery to reconstruct her neck where the Melanoma resides. Unfortunately, her health care plan with Kaiser will not cover the costs as she has a $7,000 deductible. The surgery alone will cost $4,000 and she will also have to be out of work for 2 weeks unpaid. With the cost of surgery and missing 10 days of work, this is creating a huge financial burden for her. On top of it all, her significant other is away in the military at this time. Please help Heather get through this tough time.

My daughter has Melanoma Skin Cancer
