What they care about

Few months ago I got register for trying to take my life at the moment I don’t even have a way to pay my rent and bills because of surgery anything will help

My name is Jahaira, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the most difficult times in my life. Last month, I had surgery on my left hand after months of pain and swelling that forced me to leave my warehouse job. Since then, I’ve been unable to work, and my recovery has been slow and challenging. Living alone, I have no family or friends to lean on for help, and I’ve fallen behind on my rent and light bill. My landlord has already warned me that court papers may be coming soon if I can’t catch up. This sudden loss of income and stability has taken a toll on my mental health. For the first time, I’ve had to start taking medication for anxiety and depression. The stress of not knowing if I’ll have a place to live has made it even harder to focus on healing. I’m scheduled to begin therapy soon, which I hope will help me regain strength in my hand and eventually return to work. Your support will help me cover my most urgent expenses—rent and my light bill—so I can stay in my apartment and focus on my recovery. Any help you can give will make a real difference in my life and help me get back on my feet. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer.
