In Samoa, many children face unimaginable hardships—abuse, neglect, abandonment, and violence. For them, there is only one place that opens its doors with unconditional love and safety: the Samoa Victim Support Group’s Campus of Hope.
Since 2005, the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) has been the only service provider in the country offering shelter for abused women and children. At the Campus of Hope in Apia, over 100 children call SVSG home. These children are some of the most vulnerable in Samoa: newborn babies, girls and boys rescued from violence, pregnant teenagers (many under 15 years old and victims of rape or incest), children with disabilities, and those who have been abandoned with nowhere else to go.
At the Campus of Hope, these children receive more than just shelter. They receive education, care, and the chance to dream again. Through the School of Hope and the Extension School Building, children are taught not only the national curriculum but also valuable life skills, including home economics and vocational training. These programs give them dignity, confidence, and a pathway toward a brighter future.
But keeping these children safe, fed, and cared for is an enormous challenge. SVSG relies on donations to provide daily essentials such as:
Nutritious food, clothing, and school supplies
Safe housing and medical care
Counselling and psychosocial support to help heal from trauma
Education and livelihood training for long-term independence
Every dollar donated goes directly into giving these children hope and security. Your generosity will ensure they have the resources to heal, learn, and grow into strong, resilient young adults.
I’m Jaden Laing. Through my journey as an athlete and creator, I’ve learned the importance of using our platforms to uplift others. These children deserve safety, love, and the chance to dream big. Together, we can make that possible.
No donation is too small. Every single contribution makes a difference.
On behalf of the SVSG family, thank you for standing with us and for bringing light into the lives of Samoa’s children.
Please donate today and help us keep the doors of the Campus of Hope open.
