I recently underwent open heart surgery due to an aneurysm, and while I’m incredibly grateful to be on the road to healing, this recovery has been much harder than I ever imagined. As an independent stylist, taking time off to heal means no income during this period. Because this surgery was unexpected and necessary, I wasn’t prepared to miss this much work. I don’t ask for help easily, but with February bills approaching and the need to continue renting my salon space so I don’t lose it while I recover, I find myself in a place where I truly need support. Any help—whether financial, sharing this message, or simply keeping me in your thoughts and prayers—means more than I can put into words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, kindness, and encouragement so many of you have already shown me.
