From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who has supported Isa — everyone who donated, shared his story, reached out, and continues to keep him in their prayers. The fundraiser is still ongoing. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to secure medical insurance for Isa, which means the enormous cost of his treatment and rehabilitation still has to be covered by his family, friends, and the generosity of people willing to help. After such a devastating spinal cord injury, time is extremely important. Isa needs intensive rehabilitation and continued medical care as he fights for every possible step toward recovery. In a matter of seconds, Isa’s life — and the lives of his wife and three children — changed forever. While working on a cell phone tower approximately 23–26 feet above the ground, he suddenly lost consciousness and fell. The fall caused devastating injuries to his spine and spinal cord. He has undergone major spinal surgery and is currently paralyzed from the chest down. He now urgently needs an intensive three-month rehabilitation program as he begins the long and difficult road ahead. Isa is a husband and father of three children and was the sole provider for his family. Now, while he is unable to work, his wife and children are facing this tragedy without their primary source of financial support. Funds raised will help cover Isa’s rehabilitation and support his family with essential living expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Because these needs will continue beyond the initial emergency, recurring donations can provide steady help with ongoing rehabilitation and day-to-day support for his wife and children.
