<div>Brogan was playing football on the 5th October in the Nga hau e Wha tournament when he was faced with a life threatening injury. The tackle caused a main artery rupture and caused him to loose 4 litres of blood internally. Brogan was in surgery for 5 hours and even though thankfully he made it through the surgery there is still a very long road to recovery.

<div>Brogan has always been a hands on father, his partner Chrystall and children are his whole world and we are so thankful that he is strong and that he has put up such a fight to be with them.

<div>With the amount of time Brogan will need for recovery and having a family to support, this will be a very tough time for all of them and any help will go a long way.

<div>Our new baby Hector has been diagnosed with a heart condition called transposition of the great arteries as well as a heart abnormality which will require open heart surgery and other procedures to ensure his survival. While the odds are good for him the road is long, he will be required to have surgeries/procedures as soon as he is born and ongoing for months into his newborn life. Which will require lots of changes in our home, health and work schedules.

<div>If you know us well you know myself and jonnie are providers by nature and in the last few years we’ve put some serious sacrifices in place for long term goals and this is why we are asking for help from our loved ones so that our whole family is able to stay on track during this difficult time.

<div>Jonnies work is unlike most, he is unable to go to work for a few days at a time or half a day and then come to the hospital, if he misses fly out day he then has no work for 4 weeks. If he flys out he will be unable to be present with us for 2 weeks at a time.

<div>During this pregnancy Shayna has been on semi bed rest since the beginning, so her income has already been affected and will be needing a c section, but will be unable to stay at the hospital full time while Hector is a patient so we are currently managing how travel, parking and accommodations will look for a c section recovery and a baby unable to leave the NICU for possibly months. (We are unfortunately not eligible for any government assistance with parking or accommodations) Not to mention still caring and providing for our 2 sons at home.

<div>We are also needing to do renovations in our living space to ensure we have the correct needs for Hectors long term recovery as well as having to upgrade to the highest private medical cover possible we will still have out of pocket expenses.

PLEASE SHARE! Only 2 months ago my sister Bec Lancaster-Scully was a happy and healthy 36 year old woman living on the beautiful Gold Coast with her husband Joel &amp; two beautiful boys Will, 5 and Kit, 1.<br /><br />Just before Christmas 2018 Bec suffered a series of migraines and doctors found 2 tumors. At the end of January 2019 Bec underwent brain surgery to remove one of the tumors, the other cannot be removed due to it being on her brain stem. She has since been diagnosed with Grade 4 - primary glioblastoma with a rhabdoid subtype AKA brain cancer.  The average survival time is 12-18 months with only 25% of glioblastoma patients survive more than one year, and only 5% of patients survive more than five years. <br /><br />What makes Bec’s story so incredibly sad and unique are the challenges her and Joel have faced over the past 6 years. Will was born in May 2013 with a heart condition that required heart surgery. He spent 7 weeks in hospital until he was strong enough to undergo the surgery. Then in February 2016 their little boy Jasper was born sleeping at 9 1/2 months. Bec and Joel welcomed Kit into the world in October 2017, born at 34 weeks which kept Bec and Kit in hospital for 6 weeks. <br /><br />Just when they thought all their struggles were over, they’re now faced with this horrible uncertain future. <br /><br />As Bec has family in different parts of Australia and friends all over the world wanting to help, we thought what better way to raise some money to help her, Joel and the boys. As everyone knows medical bills are costly and add up very quickly. Especially when you’re not able to work and trying to run a household all at the same time.<br /><br />Bec is the strongest woman we know &amp; if we can make this fight a little bit easier, we’re going to do whatever we can for her and her boys' future.

Bec's Battle with Brain Cancer

Today our beautiful family were victims of the unforseen... Only settled into their home for a matter of weeks a housefire took all of their belongings in one clean sweep. If you've ever lost all you have in a fire... Its nothing short of devastating. This is a family full of love and kindness for anyone within their reach. Tears of heartbreak were quickly followed by tears of gratitude for all of the kind neighbours (strangers) who risked much to try and save their  Pimpama home. This family is now in need of replacing every necessity, from linen to school bags. As many have asked what they can do. A go fund me page has been organised. Any donation no matter how small will be well received. Thank you to all who have dropped off clothing, pillows, blankets food as immediate relief...We love you  we are humbled.

Pimpama family loses all in fire

My beautiful best friend is going through every mother’s worst nightmare, her beautiful talented 15 year old son Jasey grant was taken from her in a car accident on the Gold Coast on Sunday the 20th of may. As you can imagine the whole family is distraught and the last thing they ever thought they would be facing is a funeral . I’ve set up this page to help the family with the immediate costs of this and also to help them get through the next few weeks /maybe even months financially , as you can imagine they weren’t expecting this and they will greatly appreciate any donation big or small . Jasey was a talented musician and his mum Erryn is looking at setting up a recording studio in his memory to help other young musicians and also to raise driver awareness Thank you kindly for any help you are able to give as it will take an immense load off this family’s shoulders so they can grieve xx

<strong>William's family needs your help to get him to Florida for a limb reconstruction surgery that will save his leg and enable him to walk without the use of a prosthetic!</strong> <br /><br />William was born with a very rare limb deficiency called Congenital Pseudarthrosis of the Tiba. The only option for treatment in Australia is several surgeries that most likely will end in amputation, however, we have found a doctor in Florida, USA who can save William's leg through limb reconstruction. Unfortunately this is at the cost of $185 000. <br /><br />William is a gorgeous boy who deserves a chance to have full use of both his legs, especially when this option is available overseas. <br /><br />As his parents, we want to provide William with the best option and outcome for life and so find it difficult not to be able to give our special little boy every chance he deserves. We are a proud family who find it difficult to ask for help but would be appreciative of any assistance that is given.<br /><br />We would also greatly appreciate it if you could pass this on to your friends and family as they say many hands make light work. A Way For William Appeal  

<p dir="ltr">Jake and Tania need our help. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Over the last 6 weeks Paige has gone from a normal 4 year old to having a tumor the size of a small lemon removed from her brain. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">She is terminal and only has a short time left according to her doctors BUT Jake and Tania will not give up on this little fighter! 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">We originally started with surgery to remove the mass only to be told that it was rare and in operable. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Fast forward 6 weeks and we are here. Jacob and Tania are fighting the fight of their lives and the only way we can help them is financially.

<p dir="ltr">This Gofund me page is helping them with all their expenses over this time as they no longer have an income as holidays ran out weeks ago and government assistance hasn't started.

<p dir="ltr">Since this is being shared i thought id go into a little detail, Paige has had surgery on her brain to remove a tumor the size of a small lemon this week. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">It was found on Tuesday and removed on Friday. She has just been taken out of ICU today and she isn't responding very well on her right side,  this isnt to say its permanent but she will be in for alot of rehabilitation. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Paige will need extensive rehab and hospital visits which means that either Jake or Tania are not going to be able to go back to work straight away.This will cause them a little financial hardship. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">So whilst we are all relieved that the surgery has gone well so far the hard part now is having time off unpaid in the coming weeks/months. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">I'm hoping to raise enough money to take that pressure off them so they can focus on Paige's recovery. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">I know they are the type of people to do it on their own, but I want them to know that everyone genuinely means it when they have said they will help in anyway they can. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Scott and I are going to start with $200 to get it going and hopefully even if you can only donate $10 it will all add up.
