My name is Ilia, and eight years ago I came to Boston with nothing but determination and a dream to build a meaningful life in the United States. Like many immigrants, I started from the ground up learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, and pushing myself forward every day. I earned an MBA in Strategic Management not just as a credential, but as a foundation for building something honest, sustainable, and rooted in purpose. Boston gave me opportunity, and I carry deep gratitude for that. Today, I am asking for support to bring a deeply personal vision to life: an Italian-style coffee shop in Boston that is warm, elegant, and truly welcoming. This café is meant to be a space where people connect not only over great coffee, but through creativity and shared experience. I plan to actively support gay artists and gay musicians by hosting intimate concerts, art exhibitions, and cultural events that celebrate authenticity and self-expression. Boston is full of talent, diversity, and stories that deserve to be seen and heard, yet there are too few spaces where this kind of community can naturally gather. This café is more than a business. It is a place of belonging, creativity, and connection. With your support, it can become a home for conversation, culture, and inclusion.
