<div>Help a Sumas Family Rebuild After Devastating Flood Loss

<div>Our family never imagined we would be here again.

<div>We are a family of four in Sumas, Washington, displaced by catastrophic flooding—once again. We survived the historic floods of 2021, rebuilt what we could, and tried to move forward. Now, the water has returned, and with it, devastating loss.

<div>This time, we lost nearly everything.
</div>

</div>
<div>While our insurance covers the dwelling structure, it does not cover personal belongings. The flood destroyed furniture, clothing, beds, appliances, household items, and irreplaceable personal possessions. We are left with little more than what we could carry out.

<div>Our family includes: A teenager, and an adult child with disabilities, whose care requires stability, routine, and specific accommodations

<div>Being displaced again has shaken us to our core. The emotional toll is heavy, especially on our children. We are exhausted, grieving, and trying to stay strong while navigating temporary housing, cleanup, repairs, and the overwhelming reality of starting over—again.
