It’s devastating being a manga collector and losing everything. I lost so much due to water damage. Boxes that fell apart because they were warped in waterlogged. The contents inside not able to be saved. Pages fused together and one large chunk. Books completely bent. Titles and companies that aren’t even around anymore like DMP, June, and so on. It’s been hard to rebuild or even to start to collect again because of the loss. Remembering what I had. Lack of finances definitely don’t help. Looking at the pictures, you can definitely tell I was a “OG”. Going to places like Walden books. Borders. When those companies left, it was Books A Million, secondhand Charles, Barnes & Noble. From one manga collector to another, if you would like to help me rebuild, that would be greatly appreciated. It’s been a hard lesson to learn. Now I know to store things in plastic totes now. Didn’t count on a basement flooding. I wouldn’t even mind if someone gave me some inner collection to help me rebuild mine. thank you Here all there are some pictures of after and what it used to look like in its former glory.

Due to relocating and losing both of my jobs in the process, I am currently living in a hotel and Displaced. I have no money coming in, don’t qualify for aid due to non residency issues, which means I need help having a place to stay month-to-month. Please help. Thank you  (Created 02/9/2026)
