Charles Floyd Haller III had a heart of gold. He touched many lives and will always be cherished for his kindness and generosity. We lost him tragically in an accident as he went to assist a friend in need. This last act of kindness truly speaks to his character which if you knew Charles he had a servant's heart. Charles was a brilliant young man who loved sports and music. He was the lead singer, writer, composer, backup guitarist, and frontman of the band “STARS YOU CAN’T SEE”. This is a loss that has left us all devastated. Please keep our family in your prayers as we navigate through this tragedy. Thank you.

Honoring Charles Floyd Haller III: Family Support

Hi!

My name is Jessica. I am creating this go fund me on behalf of my Mom, Rebecca Nyaga. On March 12th, Rebecca suffered a life altering event and fractured her neck in three places as well as suffered a spinal cord injury. She underwent surgery on the 13th to relieve the pressure on her spinal cord and had screws placed to stabilize her neck. She transferred to Mary Freebed a few days ago to begin intense therapy to try and restore her previous function. She may tentatively be home by April 11th and her home is not accessible for her condition. These funds will help build a ramp for her home, make the necessary changes inside her home, provide her with adaptive devices and clothing, and also help to support my adult brother who has autism and lives in the home. We do not anticipate that she will be able to walk by the time she comes home and she also has limited to no use of her hands. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. ♥️

A free, DIVERSE, independent theatre program created from the minds of independent artists, aiming to share a different light on a classic tale.

We are asking for donations for costumes, set pieces, props, and lighting and sound equipment. Without a theatre to back this production, it becomes harder to be able to access certain resources that we would likewise have.

Unlike any other Shakespeare Show, we aim to make this production weekend an entire festival that celebrates the diversity, life, and culture of Saginaw and how it ties into classic literature.

A cast of 50% local Black and People of Color performing in lead prominent speaking roles.

A new fresh look on an over 400-year-old play with a feminist twist.

The support we get from Saginaw would be so reassuring and comforting that what we are doing is something the city can be appreciative of grow and learn from.

We are set to premiere on the riverbanks of the Saginaw River in Old Town on MAY 26th, 2021

We would greatly appreciate any offer or help you can make that will help this little dream come true.

Aa

In taking the appropriate steps to get her birthmark removed, a world-shattering diagnosis has been brought to light. What should have been a simple MRI to gage how deep the birthmark ran, instead, showed a mass on Violets brain.

Our perfect 18-month-old baby has been diagnosed with Astrocytoma. At this point we are unsure if it is a grade 2 or 3 and won’t know for sure until the tumor is removed. The brain tumor itself measures 1.5 x 2 x 1.8 and is located in the part of the brain that controls movement and muscle control.

Violets mommy and daddy are set to check into the Ronald McDonald house at the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit this coming Thursday when Violet will undergo 1 more MRI to determine if it’s spread to her spine. Surgery is tentatively scheduled for removal first thing Monday morning. From there a treatment plan is expected to be made with either radiation or a combination of radiation and chemo.

As of right now, the future holds a lot of unknowns for Violet. The hard truth is that Violets parents are being faced with the fact that neither of them will be able to provide an income for their family.

Violets Mommy works full time and is a full time student set to graduate this Spring and her Daddy is also a full time employee, but unfortunately neither have any paid time off.

We are reaching out to friends and family to help ease the financial burden in this time of need, so Dillan and Morgan can focus on each other and fighting the good fight with their baby girl.

At this time, we ask that if you pray, pray hard. If you can give, thank you a thousand times. If you would like to send a kind message, ask any questions, or voice any concerns, please respect Violets Mommy and Daddy, as well as her Grandparents privacy at this time as they are not handling the news of this well. You are welcome to message Aunt Katelyn Treichel or Aunt Christina Burch and your messages will be relayed to Dillan and Morgan when the time is right.

Our Little Violet’s Brain Tumor Journey

I only knew Val as a coworker of mine at Wendy’s. But when one of the managers at Wendy’s shared that Val had passed, it was easy to see that she was much more than just a coworker to many of us. She was a friend, a sister and most important to her, she was a mother. She loved Ricky so much and she did everything she could to make sure he was well taken care of. Val touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Those of you who knew her, know that her son Ricky needs long term care. We are asking for donations so that any expenses to Val being laid to rest can be taken care of, as well as so that her son Ricky will have money for his needs.

Help Val Rest in Peace

Hello everyone, and welcome to Samson’s GoFundMe!

Sheesh, where do I even start? First off, thank you for taking the time to click on my page. My name is Benjamin Samson Holm, and I need help to partake in a year-long program to study abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I don't think I can do this alone. I've been applying for scholarships, and trying to save money, but life says otherwise. Between bills, school, and my car breaking down every two weeks I'm not close to where I need to be, which is why I'm reaching out. Please help me get to Japan!

About me:
If someone knows me, they know I am passionate about animals. I am currently studying to become a zoologist. I am so impressed by the life that God has placed on this earth. It’s beautiful, and incredible, and absolute, but it’s dying. This is why I’m aiming to create a zoo where people can come together and enjoy their time, learn about what we should and should not be afraid of, what we should and should not kill, and to encourage hearts to realize how important life really is.

(This is Alli, the four foot alligator!)

What does my major have to do with Japan? On the surface, nothing at all. Japan’s school, Kansai Gaidai, is a school focused on everything from art to business to psychology, but doesn’t have much to do with animals. Yes, I’m striving towards zoology, however, I will use the information I gain in and out of class to better protect plants, animals, and humans alike. Kansai Gaidai will expand the boundaries of my own mind. The special tools I'll gain will help expand the minds of others near me. Kansai Gaidai is capable of helping me do just that.

(Photo from educationabroad.global.usf.edu)

This school is home to many semester and year-long international students from across the world. These students come from different countries and speak many different languages. I can’t even imagine the stories and experiences that they have. This sounds like an ideal place to learn about how important and incredible life is. Maybe you’re asking, “So why Japan? You can study abroad anywhere!”

To keep a long story short, my young life was kind of rough. Some things made me not want to be here anymore. Family, prayer, and distractions got me through these times. Japanese Anime was one of these distractions.

As an ignorant kid, I thought Japananese people were a lot like the anime I was watching. I looked in to it, and saw that my fantasies did not match reality. Sadly, no one was shooting energy beams and lifting mountains. However, I did discover that the language, culture, and views were uniquely different from the United States. I've heard perspectives from Japan that I most likely would never have realized on my own.

The vastly different social etiquette, thought, language, and culture that Japan has will allow me to not only better understand people from all walks of life, but to be better equipped to help them as well. Being able to study at Kansai Gaidai is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will make me a better person so that I may be able to have a positive impact on not just my own life, but the world.

If you read all that, thank you so much for your time alone. In order to participate in this program, I need to raise $20,000. I’ll be using the money towards tuition, a passport and visa, food, tuition, homing, room, and board, various supplies, travel and other miscellaneous costs.

I plan on making a YouTube Channel to take everyone along with me!

Thank you so much again for taking the time to read about me and my goals. Thank you so much. Please share only if you feel comfortable!

Studying Abroad in Japan!

Our daughter Vanessa (Nessie) is an 18 yr. old Sr. at Jimtown High. She was born premature and has had multiple health issues, epilepsy w/gran mal seizures, low immune system, scoliosis, asthma ,as well as cardiothoraccic surgery at age 15. In June of 2011 she was hospitalized with organ failure ,other then putting her on several meds. to help her continue to function, the drs. could never seem to find the root cause. With meds. and physical therapy she was able to have a grace period. Then in october of 2012 nessie had to be hospitalized again with organ Failure and severe pain, this time it affected her left leg, after an mri the drs. also discovered an adenoma. She then spent the month of january 2013 at the cleveland clinic, their she was diagnosed with crps and with new meds. treatments and intense physical therapy she was able to return to school (after missing 95 days). Since she was feeling better(in remission)
, she decided to try out for color guard(it was her first time being able to participate in a school sport) we were a little nervous about it ,but supported her. She worked hard during practices and learned to cope with her pain and had physical therapy 3 times a week. In oct. 2013 Vanessa was marching out to the field and felt her left foot explode, it was an excruciating pain and she felt like a knife had went thru her foot. We took her home and gave her pain meds. , but by the next morning her foot swelled up to twice the size and she had no feeling in her toes. She couldnt even soak it in water because it burned her skin, from this point on she could no longer wear a shoe. We tried every treatment possible acupuncture, deep tissue massage, spinal nerve blocks, tens unit, etc. Other then help with minor swelling, these treatments did nothing for the severe pain that she was experiencing. After Mri's and Xrays drs, found more problems not only is Vanessa in full CRPS flare up (complex regional pain syndrome),which has no cure, but they also believe she has Ehlers Danlos syndrome (EDS) Vanessa,s pain has now gone from her foot to her calf and now onto her hip, shes also beginning to experience hand cramping,Nessie also suffers from scoliosis as well as other back problems ,so getting comfortable has not been easy. She is now on crutches ,but is having difficulty with that because of her pain.As of now, We have 2 new options for treatment- Prolotherapy and Calmar scrambler therapy,Unfortunately neither of these treatments are covered by insurance. PLEASE help our Nessie get the treatments that can help her get back to her smiling happy self. The pain has become completely overwhelming for her and we need to act fast as she is continuing to get worse. We know that God has a plan for Vanessa and we have faith that he will bring her thru...as an infant we were told that she would have a lifespan of about 2 years, well she's proved the Drs. wrong :) Help her to continue to do so! Vanessa has an appointment on Jan. 20th for the calmar pain center in Rhode Island, please help make this possible. God Bless, Mark and Anna Tice
