I'm raising funds for a long-distance friend, Slash, who is living with cerebral palsy and struggling financially because of the barriers of an inaccessible world. People often ask what community looks like. For me, it looks like sharing what we can when someone needs support. I may not be able to literally share food from my garden with everyone, but I can ask for help for a friend who needs assistance with everyday essentials right now. Donations will help cover groceries, grocery delivery, utilities, and keeping the air on during extreme heat. These are basic daily needs, but they are also ongoing needs, and dependable support can make a real difference from month to month. If you're able, please consider making a recurring donation to help with these continuing expenses. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will go toward groceries, delivery costs, and utility bills as needs come up.
