Healing Hands Network

Hi, my name is Sue Stretton and I run the UK. regd. Charity Healing Hands Network, fundraising currently for our Ukrainian Project. We personally drive medical, surgical and humanitarian aid across to Ukraine. Currently we are trying to support Irina from Kherson who is struggling to look after the people in her street and locality who have been shelled out and are virtually or totally homeless. Irena has cats and dogs of her own but is also looking after the pets of those who's homes are gone. The dogs remain still trying to guard their properties and are under shell fire and gunfire often being shot. There is no electricity, no light and thus no hot food or drinks, washing and laundry being difficult. She is feeding rice to the animals trying to keep them safe and alive. Irina goes out very early morning to avoid the shelling but it is still hugely dangerous for her. She is at her wits end. We are raising funds to take generators, animal food, vetinerary supplies and humanitarian aid which we will drive over to them as soon as possible, hopefully before the new year.
