<div>As all of you know, this past year has been the hardest time of our family's life, <strong>losing my daughter Katelyn</strong>. My mother has gone through foster care with my granddaughter Avelyn. We are now ready to move to the next chapter and celebrate her getting adopted.

<div>UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had so many people ask to set a go fund me up this is the one we have had since June. Danielle is still in Scottish rite in Atlanta she has had the shunt surgery a tracheostomy and her gallbladder removed and a G tube put in . She is getting stronger everyday l. We have officially been here for 3 months and things are just getting a little tougher we have not had the best of luck . So I appreciate all of the prayers I believe this is why danielle is still fighting cause she is loved by so many . All donations are so greatly appreciated I promise it's definitely used rather it be gas ,food , danielles extra equipment i can't thank everyone enough for everything our friends and family have done for her . <div>My name is Emma Pittman. My mom is Jennifer and my dad is Jeremy Pittman. My sister, Danielle, has been in Scottish Rite ICU for 23 days on a ventilator.

<div>23 days ago, my family's world was torn apart when we tried waking Danielle up, and she stopped breathing in my mom's arms. Danielle has had many medical conditions over the years, including 2 major brain surgeries. She is the true definition of a fighter. She was rushed to Piedmont and brought back to us but has been on a ventilator, breathing for her 100%. She has now developed staph in her lungs and is not doing too well. We found out yesterday that her diaphragm is damaged, which means she has no control of the left side where her lung is collapsed. The doctor has asked my parents to start making decisions for Danielle to have a tracheostomy, which is a very intense surgery that comes with high risk. <strong>Danielle's body has been fighting for 23 days, and she is tired, and doctors are concerned that her body is too weak to perform anything at this time.</strong>

<div>My mom has not left Danielle's side, not one time. She is with her 24/7. My dad drives to Atlanta every single day with all the children so we can be together as a family. My mom and dad are great parents and would never ask for help, but I know they are struggling. <strong>It's costing $40 a day just for gas to get back and forth, and bills continue to come regardless if you're in a hospital.</strong> I'm setting up this GoFundMe so maybe this can take a little stress off my mom and dad. If you can't donate, that's fine; we are asking for all the prayers we can get.
