<div>So an incident happened where our car got towed from a handicap spot despite being legally parked there and the towing company damaged my wheelchair. (It’s a whole story)

<div>We will be suing for negligence, state law says we can if anything is damaged during towing. Finding a lawyer will take time though as we have a baby so most our expenses go towards him.

</div>

<div>In the meantime I need a wheelchair. This current one is still useable for small, flat surfaces. Like our apartment. Where the rear wheel axels go, got messed up so the quick release gets triggered if going over a bump at normal speed, my center of gravity (the most important part) is off that I was literally able to do a wheelie (I’ve never been able to do), and footplates are bent. The center of gravity and where the axels go are fixed with my frame. They’re not simple parts to replace.

<div>While the car was being towed, it slid all the way back and slammed around in the car since we have a big trunk.

</div>

<div>HOC needs a $1500 deposit and the chair is estimated around $7k. This is set at $2,500 as we will also be depleting our savings so we didn’t have to ask much of you guys.

<div>We will not be outing the company as that can impact our chances at suing.

<div>Hello I’m Haley, I’m currently physically and mentally disabled. I have become very disabled due to working for YSS and getting several concussions and other physical injuries. Worker’s compensation stopped paying me after telling me to switch jobs for my mental health. I was also discharged from care from worker’s compensation because they couldn’t do anything for me anymore even thought my symptoms from my most recent concussion. Due to my last concussion which left me unable to work. I have severe migraines and can’t concentrate, I also have headaches daily and chronic back and neck pain. I have done physical therapy for months. Worker’s compensation stopped paying for that physical therapy and sent me to another physical therapist that didn’t help much with my existing symptoms. Workers compensation was helping with medical bills and wage reimbursement but stopped paying the wage reimbursement in March, and stopped paying for my medical expenses at tue beginning of May. And I still have all the same issues as when they were helping me. They just decided to deny me any more medical treatment. Or pay for my medications that I need. Also any wage reimbursement. If there’s a way you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. You can also private message me if you want my Venmo. I am struggling to pay for my medical insurance, medications that I need, food and car payments. I’m currently trying to sue YSS for my injuries but right now I am unable to work due to my chronic illness. Anything helps!!
