Grandma

I’m having a really hard time writing this, but I know I need to. I’m a grandmother raising my grandchildren, and they mean everything to me. I’ve always done my best to give them a safe, stable home—but right now, we are not safe. We are living in a domestic violence situation that has been getting worse. I’ve tried to manage it, protect them, and quietly save enough so we could leave on our own. But things are escalating, and I can’t wait any longer. We need to leave town for our safety. Staying here isn’t an option—local shelters are known to him, and I’m scared he would find us. The funds will go toward: Getting us out of town safely A secure place to stay Basic needs as we start over Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this—means more than I can put into words.
