What they care about

my husband And I said enough is enough we are working to pay off 34k of debt one micro payment every

Five years ago, my husband and I were in a completely different financial place. Our only major bills were our mortgage and a car payment. Then life happened. We walked through years of infertility treatments, a shattered clavicle that required surgery, cancer, additional surgeries, and all of the unexpected expenses that come with simply trying to make it through hard seasons. Today, we find ourselves carrying about $34,000 in debt. And if I’m being completely transparent, there have been times when that number has felt overwhelming. Then one day, I stumbled across a social media account documenting a debt-payoff journey. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It became heavy on my heart that maybe it was time for us to say: Enough is enough. We’re paying this off. But I also felt like God was putting something bigger on my heart. I knew faith needed to be part of this journey. I knew I had a story to tell. Maybe nobody could relate to every piece of it—but I was pretty sure a lot of people could relate to at least one. And that’s how Grace Above Debt began. ❤️ My idea was a little crazy: use the engagement from my Facebook and Instagram pages to determine tiny micro-payments toward our debt. My husband definitely thought I was a little nuts at first. But then those pennies became dollars. Those dollars became payments. And those payments started making a REAL difference. More importantly, this community has given us something we desperately needed: Accountability. We aren't simply relying on social media to pay our debt. We've scrubbed our budget, canceled subscriptions, stopped eating out, tightened our grocery spending, worked overtime, and taken on side hustles so that we can make these payments ourselves. We are determined to change our financial future. Any additional support donated here will go directly toward our debt and help us continue making progress—one micro-payment, one sacrifice, and one step at a time. ❤️ Donations are NEVER expected. But if you feel led to help, no amount is too small. Whether it's $1, $5, or $100, we are incredibly grateful. And if giving isn't something you're able or called to do, please don't. Your prayers, encouragement, engagement, and simply sharing our story mean more than you know. This started as a journey to pay off $34,000 of debt. But somewhere along the way, it has become about faith, accountability, community, grace, and realizing that even the smallest actions can create a ripple. Thank you for being part of ours. ❤️ Grace above guilt. Progress over perfection. And one payment at a time. And if you are donating For the Ripple Effect, please message me so I can get your sponsorship in the correct area. — Jana
