Some people come into our lives and leave footprints. Others leave a hole that can never truly be filled. Kris’s brother, Erick “Metric” Johnson, was one of those people. On the evening of October 9, 2026, Erick was struck by a vehicle in Bellflower, California. Tragically, Erick did not survive. Just like that, Katie Johnson lost her husband, brothers lost one of their own, and so many people lost someone they loved deeply.
<br>
<br>
 Erick leaves behind his beloved wife, Katie, his partner in life for 20 years. For those fortunate enough to have known Metric, you know just how special he was. He was the kind of man you could count on. In the good times, he was there to celebrate with you. In the bad times, he was there to stand beside you. He was a husband, a friend, a brother, and an incredible human being whose presence made the lives of those around him better. He was loved beyond words, and his loss has left so many absolutely heartbroken.
<br>
<br>
 As Katie faces the emotional and financial burden of laying her husband to rest while trying to figure out how to move forward without him, any support would mean so much. Every donation will go toward Erick’s final arrangements and financial support for Katie as she navigates the difficult days and months ahead. No amount is too small, and every contribution matters. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help support Katie during this devastating loss.

<div>Hi friends, this is KC, writing on behalf of my dear friend Trinity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Trinity isn’t one to ask for help easily, but she’s felt called to reach out for support and prayers as she navigates a challenging health journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last February, Trinity was in a sledding accident that injured her leg and back, leading to ongoing health issues, and a long recovery process involving surgery, physical therapy, bracing, injections, and numerous appointments. Over the past year, she’s done all she can, but her back pain has worsened, and her leg still hasn’t healed as hoped holding her back from sports and doing the things she loves!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She’s currently dealing with herniated discs, sciatica, nerve damage, SI joint hip pain, small fracture in her vertebrae, and broken-down discs causing degenerative disc disease. Along with ligament and nerve damage of her knee. After consulting nearly 10 specialists, she’s found a doctor who truly listens and is committed to helping her. He believes spinal decompression therapy could be a game-changer, and it’s given Trinity renewed hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Additionally, Trinity has been led to a treatment center she’d been praying for, which recommends a combination of therapies that could relieve 80–90% of her pain. Unfortunately, these treatments aren’t covered by insurance and are quite costly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Trinity's boss Missy, after seeing her go through all of the pain for the past year and a half suggested starting a fundraiser to help cover the cost of the specialized physical therapy treatments she needs to help pull her through to healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In gratitude, Trinity's work team at “Beauty by Us,” led by her wonderful boss Missy, would love to offer a free haircut or hair treatment as a thank you for your support if you would like that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Scheduling appointments between June 16th-June 20th!
</div>
<div>Reach out to Trinity to schedule your appointment!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can't book then, live far, or just want to donate that would mean the world to Trinity!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you feel moved to contribute, pray, or share this fundraiser, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every bit helps, and it means so much to Trinity to know she’s not facing this alone.
</div>

<div>Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Hannah Marie Ekelman. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who brought so much love and light into our lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hannah dedicated her life to helping others. She worked for Accel, assisting kids and adults with special needs, which was her passion. She never hesitated to help anyone who needed it and was always the person you could reach out to and she would be there. Hannah was baptized and faithfully involved in her church community at 29:11. Hannah brought joy and love to everyone she met, we want to ensure her funeral reflects the light she shared with us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As we come to terms with Hannah’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging her final farewell. The financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

</div>

<div>We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Hannah’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering Hannah fondly. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference.

</div>

<div><br />

<div>If you’re receiving this, you likely know him—or know someone who does. They call him "DMC" Donny McCall, a beloved member of our community who now needs us more than ever.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, DMC was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident while returning home from Las Vegas, where he had just attended a brother’s funeral. About 30 miles south of Baker, a truck veered into his lane, clipping his front tire. The impact launched DMC and his bike, resulting in life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Hospital in Colton, where the medical team has worked tirelessly to stabilize him.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>DMC has sustained devastating injuries: fractures in both his upper and lower leg, foot, and toes; broken ribs; a punctured lung; broken collarbones; a fractured shoulder blade; internal bleeding; a brain bleed; and pneumonia. Despite his incredible strength, the road to recovery is long and grueling.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Following surgery on his upper leg, DMC was placed in an induced coma and put on a ventilator. After nearly a week, he began showing signs of waking, and on March 6th, he was successfully removed from the ventilator. Although he is now conscious and working hard to communicate, his journey to heal is far from over. His resolve to get up and even ask for a cold beer highlights his fighting spirit—but he has a long way to go before reclaiming his independence.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>DMC will be out of work for an extended period, and the financial burden on his family is overwhelming. With mounting out-of-pocket medical expenses and the necessity for long-term care over the coming year, we are urgently asking for your help. Any amount you can give will make a difference and directly support DMC, his wife, and his family during this critical time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This is our chance to rally around a man who has always been there for others. Let’s show DMC and his family that they’re not alone. Your generosity and compassion can help them navigate this incredibly difficult chapter.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please, donate today—every contribution matters. Together, we can help DMC get back on his feet. Thank you for your support.

<div>Hi my name is Robin and we are raising money to show our favorite hair stylist how much we love her! Missy took a fall on January 22nd and has broken both arms! As you know she works six, sometimes seven days a week to keep her clients feeling awesome about their hair. She will do whatever it takes to fit someone into her schedule and now we have a chance to take care of her. She broke the radius and ulna in her right arm and had immediate surgery to repair it and have a plate added in. The humerus bone in her left arm was broken and she will be in a cast and sling for weeks. Please help Missy while she is unable to work for at least the next six weeks. These donations will go to medical and living expenses. Missy has always done whatever she can to be there for her friends, family and clients. Missy truly is one of a kind! Please donate whatever you can to show her how much we appreciate the person that she is and everything she does for the world!
