If you have ever been to Kwickfill on North Street in Meadville, PA, chances are you’ve met Miss Lisa. She’s a bright soul with a heart of gold, always ready to help anyone and everyone who walks through the door. As the sole provider for her family, Lisa has touched countless lives in our community, whether it’s lending a hand to a customer in need or supporting local charities for various causes. Recently, Lisa suffered a serious fall . She is now in the hospital with a T3 vertebrae fracture, two broken ribs, an eye socket fracture, and other facial injuries. As she put it herself, “I busted a lot of bones in my face.” Her injuries are severe, and she will be out of work for months as she recovers. Despite her own challenges, Lisa’s spirit remains strong, but the road ahead will be difficult. It breaks my heart that I have to make a GoFundMe for this precious person, but it is with her permission that I am doing it. During this time, Lisa will need help covering her living expenses, paying bills, buying groceries, and arranging rides to doctor’s appointments and physical therapy. I am asking our community to come together and support Miss Lisa, just as she has supported so many of us. Any and all help for her would be truly appreciated. Let’s show Lisa that she’s not alone and that her kindness has made a lasting impact on all of us.

My inspiration for this fundraiser is my mom. She was the kind of person who would help anyone and everyone in need—offering food, shelter, or whatever she could if someone needed it. It’s been eight years since she passed, and I feel it’s my time to give back to the community that has given so much to me. As a parent and single mother, I truly understand how it feels to struggle with gifts in December for Christmas. That’s part of why this cause is so close to my heart. This past December, I started volunteering at FCCA, a local non-profit that does so much for families throughout the year—supporting them in many ways, including providing community breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. While FCCA also provided toys for children at Christmas, I mostly helped with the meal programs, and I also spent some time volunteering with Toys for Tots. Sometimes, the sad truth is that programs like Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, and local non-profits are the only gifts parents are able to give their children. Seeing the joy on parents’ faces as they picked out toys for their children was incredible. I can only imagine how much brighter the holidays would be for kids if they could open gifts chosen just for them. If I could, I’d love to go to the store and pick every name off the angel trees—shopping for all the children listed there. With your help, I might be able to do just that. My goal is to raise enough money throughout 2026 to shop for gifts in December, when angel tree programs begin. I want my legacy to be known for helping those in need, just as my mom’s was. With your help, I hope to give as many children as possible a Christmas they’ll never forget. Every donation, big or small, will help bring smiles and hope to kids in our community. Thank you for considering supporting this cause!
