Hola, Esta es mi madre  Maria del Carmen Guzmán, Hace algunos años empezó a tener complicaciones en su corazón y en Noviembre del 2019 le hicieron un procedimiento llamado cateterísmo  el cual iría seguido de otro que estaba estimado para finales de marzo 2020 porque aún tenia una arteria obstruida.  En ese momento los doctores decían que era una bomba de tiempo y que debía ser operada a la mayor brevedad posible, la operación fue aplazada por la pandemia.  En los próximos meses su condición fue empeorando, al punto de ella decir textualmente “no aguanto mas” no puedo respirar bien, tengo taquicardia y no puedo dormir. <br /><br />La llevamos a  Cedimat  y de inmediato fue requerida una cirugía porque su situación empeoró y  tenia  3 arterias obstruidas y una válvula del corazón obstruida.  La operación fue exitosa pero perdió mucho más sangre le colapso un pulmón y tuvo que ser intervenida por segunda vez ese mismo día porque no se conseguían las plaquetas que detuvieran el sangrado.  Lo que serian 3 días  en cuidado intensivo  se convirtieron en 27 por varias complicaciones mas que  surgieron en el proceso de recuperación como, sangrado interno (luego de un drenaje pulmonar), presión y niveles de azúcar altos, y etc.<br /><br />La clínica cotizó  con un presupuesto de $1,777,210.34  para poder solicitar cobertura en el seguro (SEMMA, seguro de maestros) pero debido a que ella se había realizado un proceso de alto costo hace menos de un año el seguro solo cubrió $936,538.33 . Entendiendo la necesidad accedimos al internamiento pero debido a todas las complicaciones que se han presentado en el proceso el presupuesto ascendió a $2,124,543.23  para lo cual solicitamos ayuda de familiares y abrir una deuda en la clínica.<br /><br />Hoy mi mamá fue ingresada otra vez porque tiene líquido en los pulmones y le harán otro proceso quirúrgico mañana sábado 1ro de agosto, nos pidieron un deposito de $100,000 pesos y no tenemos idea del monto de la factura final,  además mi madre tiene que tomar 3 terapias a la semana en la clínica y muchos medicamentos que son muy costosos.<br /><br />Cualquier ayuda será infinitamente agradecida por nuestra familia, quienes solo queremos que mi madre pueda volver un corazón sano.<br /><br /><br />Una vez recaudado los fondos estos serán retirados  en Estados Unidos por mi prima Adalgisa Reyes  la cual tambien es como una hija para mi madre, vive en estados unidos y se ofreció para retirar el dinero en dolares y la cual agregue como autorizada de la cuenta, ya que esta cuenta de "Gofundme" es en dólares y es necesario que el dinero sea retirado en un pais que maneje esa divisa.  Tan pronto el dinero sea depositado en la cuenta de banco de mi prima Adalgisa Reyes, esta procederá a enviarlo a Santo Domingo para poder costear las deudas adquiridas en el proceso medico que ha sufrido mi madre, ademas de los gastos de recuperación de la misma.  Agradecida de ante mano a mi prima Adalgisa por aceptar ser parte de la campana y poder retirar el dinero para pagar las cuentas adeudadas y el pago de medicamentos para la recuperación de mi madre.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50091526_1596252521721409_r.jpeg" alt="50091526_1596252521721409_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50091526_1596252578621904_r.jpeg" alt="50091526_1596252578621904_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50091526_1596252621696745_r.jpeg" alt="50091526_1596252621696745_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50091526_1596252670736897_r.jpeg" alt="50091526_1596252670736897_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

<div>Teaching has been my life for many years. I truly love what I do and I am proud to be an educator. I work hard every day to provide for my family and to make a difference in my students lives. But the reality is that living in the United States has become incredibly expensive. Rent, food, childcare, insurance and basic necessities keep rising and one teacher salary is simply not enough anymore. Even when you budget carefully it can still feel overwhelming and honestly exhausting.

<div>Because of this I am trying to create something positive and sustainable for my family. Photography has always been my passion. For those of you who know me well you know that I never go anywhere without a camera or that I am always the one capturing moments people later cherish. Photography is not just a hobby for me it is something I am truly good at and something that brings me joy and purpose. Over the years many people have encouraged me to take this talent seriously and turn it into a side business.

<div>My goal is to purchase a professional camera so I can start offering photography services while continuing to teach. This is not about leaving education but about creating additional income so life feels a little less stressful and more stable for my family. With the right equipment I can begin building a small photography business doing portraits events and special moments for others while doing something I love.
