This of course affects me greatly in my work and my private life, and since I work as a social worker and help people here and am unable to provide assistance to my family, it is a huge burden on me, so I thought about,Using this site with the aim of collecting travel costs and preparing papers for them, which is basically very difficult currently and requires time and money.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Travel costs are distributed between exiting the Rafah border crossing and preparing passports and airline tickets for nine members, who are my family. I face great difficulty in communicating with them. Sometimes it may take days or more than a week, and I do not know anything about them. They constantly tell me that they need to get out and travel to a safe place because Gaza is like... Many people know that it is currently unfit to live without housing, food, drink, or humanitarian aid
</div>
<div>this is my first trying to use this website the purpose of this donation my family whom displaced after our home (had 3 floors) were destroyed because of the Israeli forces attacks on the civilians. This happened in the second week for the war and my family had forced to go to the south because the area no more safe-to be specific very dangerous(our home used to be at the north of Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We extend our heartfelt thanks for your empathy and willingness to aid us during this dire chapter of our lives. Your support is a beacon of hope, drawing us closer to a future where peace and stability are not mere aspirations but realities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div>Many thanks,

Help my Family getting out of Gaza

<div>It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mommy, Nancy Lynn Freedman Pipolo, on December 8th, 2025. It is a devastating shock to everyone who knew her. She was the light of our life and the backbone to our household. We don't know what we will do without her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She was a loving, protective mother to 3 children and our dog, Kiva, who just passed in March, who we are sure greeted her in heaven. She had hands of gold, making delicious meals and confections with love. Her challot were next to none, and her business, built off of family classic baked goods, Nancy's Fancies, was highly praised. Mom had her Master's in Education and an extensive knowledge of Judaism and Jewish history, teaching for close to 30 years. She was selfless. She put her life on hold, dedicating the past 11 years to caring for her parents, our Booboo and Papa, and always put everyone ahead of herself, up until the very end.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are currently facing the challenge of affording the funeral costs and humbly ask for your support. We must emphasize our urgency in reaching this goal as Jewish custom is to have the burial as soon as possible to respect the memory of our mother. Any contribution is immensely appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funeral will take place at Groman Eden mortuary on Friday, December 12th at 12:00 pm in the red and white brick building. Reception to follow at 17521 Osborne st.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our whole family is thankful for the support system of our friends and family during this nightmare.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,

Willie & Vanessa's Home Lost in Eaton Fire

<div>Since March 2023, <strong>No Canyon Hills</strong> (NCH) has been advocating for expanded Environmental Review for the proposed “Canyon Hills” development in the Verdugo Mountains in Los Angeles. Slated to be built on 300+ acres of significant ecological habitat, the development project will see mountain peaks graded in order to build 221-home luxury homes in a private, gated tract.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In allyship with the earth and its many inhabitants, NCH has simultaneously been working to realize a conservation solution: our top level goal is to conserve the land in perpetuity with an indigenous-led co-stewardship plan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our efforts have yielded so much to be proud of—events, collaboration, art, music, learning, experiences, and much more. We are so grateful for the collective energy powering NCH, and now we need your help: the “Canyon Hills” developer is suing NCH and associated individuals, and we must raise a reasonable sum in order to defend our work and the right to free speech in service of the public good.

No Canyon Hills Needs You: URGENT Legal Defense Fund ⛰️

<div>Hi, my name is Vanessa. I am an American currently living in Australia. I met Mohammed who is from Gaza at the beginning of the war. Let me introduce to you to Mohammed and his little family. This is Mohammed and baby Hashem. Mohammed’s wife gave birth to Hashem last month in Gaza and if you’ve been paying attention you know the situation in Gaza is dire. I cannot even begin to imagine the bittersweet feeling of welcoming in your newborn with so much joy while also being under bombardment and not knowing what the future holds. We have a chance to help them and ensure that this family seeks safety. Please if you can we would greatly appreciate any donation you can make. Our goal is to evacuate Mohammed and his family to Egypt. It is an incredibly desperate time between life and death. Any help is appreciated! Thank you so much!
</div>

Help Mohammed, his wife and his newborn baby escape death

<div>Dear friends,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To those who do not know me, I am Fadi, a young Palestinian from Gaza who has witnessed the unimaginable. After losing more than 46 members of my family, my best friend, my neighbors, relatives, I am now more than ever in need of your help. Like all the displaced people in Gaza, I have sheltered in every place possible including in Rafah, where I shared a tent with four children. If we survive the airstrikes and bombs, it is very difficult to survive the imposed starvation and overpriced yet rare goods sold in the markets.. Our home was reduced to rubble and we will need to start from scratch rebuilding our lives if we make it. I urge you to help us before it's too late..

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Some of my direct relatives are heavily wounded and others suffer from chronic diseases and need immediate evacuation to seek medication abroad. A big part of your donations will go to them, hoping we can rescue them in time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every donation counts no matter how big or little. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><span>I, Lyana Mansour, am launching this campaign in hopes of supporting my friend Fadi and his family in raising the funds they need to be able to overcome the hardships they’ve been enduring for nearly a year now. All collected funds will be sent directly to Fadi. After losing so many of his family members and without any time to even process the grief, he’s carrying the responsibility of providing shelter, food, and basic life necessities to his remaining family members, most of which are children. Your generosity does not go unnoticed. We are deeply thankful for any help.</span><br />
</div>

Support Fadi's Family & Loved Ones

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, my name is Brieana from Oregon and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my friend Sahar and her family in Gaza. Sahar and her family are hoping to evacuate to Egypt, but the Egyptian government imposes entry fees to its lands at ~$10,000 per person.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>In Sahar’s words:</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>My name is/sahar jehad khalil abu louz. Pictured are my 3 children: Khaled, Sarah, and Rital, and now I am pregnant with a child. Khaled is 15 years old, Sarah is 11 years old, and Retal is 6 years old. We are now displaced from northern Gaza to the south in the city of Rafah.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>We are here in Gaza, alive, but we are not all well. We are dying every day from fear, hunger, and thirst. There are no necessities for life and no safe place to turn to. We have been displaced from our homes that were destroyed by the occupation, and now we are in the streets. We need safety. We want to travel abroad, but we do not have the money. To travel, we need a lot of money, 180 thousand dollars, so that we can restart our lives from the beginning. I need to educate my children, whose future in education has been lost, and buy a house abroad to secure the lives of my children. Please help us, my friend, until we are saved from devastating death here in Gaza and the war is gone from us.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>I am very tired of the cold and my children being very sick. We are in a very catastrophic situation, my love. I do not know how to give birth to my child, and I do not have anything to be able to take care of him, including diapers, clothes, and milk for him.</em> <em>I am very tired during my pregnancy because I do not eat well. I do not have food that is healthy and sufficient for me and my fetus. I have anemia during this pregnancy, and my health is very deteriorating. I hope that I will give birth and be in peace. I am very afraid for the children.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Now my children and I need to escape from death. I want to travel with them abroad and protect their lives so that they can live happily and have fun like the children of the world and live freely and safely. I will teach them the best education and buy them a house so that I can compensate them for the house that was destroyed here in Gaza by the occupation. There is no mercy in their hearts. You have destroyed all our dreams. And the dreams of my children here in Gaza.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Please, my friends, help us share this gofundme to everyone so that others can help us and our young children. We need your support. You are relieving us of this pain by supporting us, my beloved friend.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Sahar stated, money raised will go toward entry fees to Egypt, medication/doctor’s appointments for her pregnancy, food, clothing, a tent and other necessities of life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your generosity can make a meaningful difference in Sahar's life. Please consider donating if you can, and thank you for your kindness and support.
</div>
<div><br />

Help Sahar’s Family from Gaza Get to Safety

<div>I am Rami Mohammed al-Khodary from Palestine Gaza City
</div>
<div>I talk to you with a heavy heart with the weight of my family's struggle. Our world was turned upside down on October 12, 2023, and we were forced to flee our house in northern Gaza, leaving behind everything we knew and loved, a family of 10.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we find ourselves in Deir al-Balah, southern Gaza, currently living in a small, unprepared warehouse, lacking even the most basic necessities such as water and electricity. With ten of us confined to this space for far fewer, every day is a battle for survival.
</div>
<div>Adding to the challenges we face is the arrival of a new member of our family, my brother's newborn baby. Born in these difficult circumstances, he faces a future without proper medical care or even the most basic necessities such as milk and vaccinations.
</div>
<div>‎
</div>
<div>We dream of escaping this cycle of suffering, finding shelter and hope elsewhere. But the path to freedom is blocked by exorbitant fees, an insurmountable obstacle for a family already teetering on the brink of despair.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's why we turn to you, with hope in our hearts and call for help on our lips. Your support, no matter how small, can make a big difference to us. It can mean the difference between continuing hardship and an opportunity for a better life.
</div>
<div>Your generosity will not only save us, it will also save countless people who find themselves trapped in similar circumstances.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, we can cross the border into Egypt and begin rebuilding our broken lives.
</div>

<div>On the seventh day of October, suddenly in the early morning, we heard a sound, and then we realized that the war had started, From the first minute all my family members evacuated to my aunt's house in central Jabalia, which was considered safer than our house on the eastern border of Jabalia. After the first week, we learned that our house was got damaged by bombs , making it difficult to return and live in it. Also, the Israeli army requested people in the north to evacuate to the south of Gaza Valley.
</div>
<div>We lost our home ,our agricultural land that has been completely swept way and lost our business, the shoe store.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>There were over 400 people in the house we were in. Most of them evacuated to southern Gaza, and a few remained in the north of Gaza Valley, including us. Initially, my father refused to evacuate south due to my illness and his old age, finding it difficult to live in shelters. Therefore, we decided to stay in northern Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After forty days of intense bombing and fear, shells started falling on the house we were staying in the city center May God protect us . That's when we decided to flee south. It was very difficult for me as a girl with muscular dystrophy to move like everyone else, so my father decided to provide me with a wheelchair.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After much struggle, we managed to get the wheelchair from kind-hearted people and fled to the south of the valley, to the Deir al-Balah area. After enduring great suffering at the checkpoint from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., we arrived at Deir al-Balah and stayed in shelters in schools, which were overcrowded.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After much suffering and mediation by relatives, we built a small tent that could accommodate at least four people, but my family, consisting of twenty members, found it difficult because I, as a girl with muscular dystrophy, didn't have suitable conditions in the tent - no walls to lean on and no suitable bathroom. I suffered a lot and got sick by hepatitis A in this tent as all my family members suffered from influenza ,intestinal disease and hepatitis A due to lack of good food and clean water .

I am now in the final stage of secondary school, eagerly waiting to complete it and pursue my dreams like any other girl in the world. But the war came, destroying all my dreams and aspirations, including our warm home that we waited five years to complete, and my father had arranged everything for me, including a suitable bathroom.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Welcome, my name is Laurel Motolinia Fowler (Laurie), and I reside in the United States and hold Mexican and American citizenship. My niece, Diane Motolinia Hede who is a Mexican citizen living in Mexico, has been corresponding with Mosa Hammad and following his updates on instagram. My niece contacted me as she lives in Mexico to help set up a page for him as she was unable to due to GoFundMe geographic limitations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to make sure that Mosa and his family can collect donations as their house in Gaza was destroyed and his family was displaced over and over again. Mosa and his family lost their home, their money and their valuable possessions due to the continuous bombing by the Israeli occupation. This page is to provide them with the minimum aid to continue surviving, aid such as food, water and important medications. Given the geographic location and GoFundMe limitations, I'm stepping in to help launch this campaign. All donations will go directly to Mosa transferred through PayPal. Please support if you can, any amount, no matter how small it may seem, can help rebuild what he has lost and realize the dreams he is working so hard for.

<div>‏Below is the story of Mosa Hammad:‏Hello dear supporters! My name is Mosa Hammad, I am 22 years old, a software engineer, and I am proud to study at the Islamic University of Gaza. Today, I communicate with you with a heavy heart, as the place that I once considered my home has left us under circumstances beyond my control, as we were subjected to severe and violent bombing and the commission of genocide such as killing and captivity, and we are now displaced and displaced, without shelter, and we do not even have a good tent to prevent drowning due to... Heavy rain and extreme cold ‏In the heart of Gaza, where dreams and resilience coexist, my family's home, a haven of love and memories, is being bombed. The recent difficulties have affected us, exposure to bombing and genocide, which left us facing a difficult task, which is to migrate to Rafah, where we do not know anyone and have no relatives to support us. We were always alone.‏ As a software engineer, I have dedicated my life to understanding programming that makes the world more developed. Studying at the Islamic University in Gaza was a milestone, and obtaining a graduation certificate was the beginning of realizing my dream, which is to travel and work outside Gaza to collect money and send it to my father in Gaza, who was seeking to save money under difficult circumstances to pay the very expensive and expensive university tuition.‏ Now, I find myself in a position where I must humbly ask for your support to rebuild what has been lost. I will launch this fundraising campaign to collect money and compensate for my destroyed house, support my sad family who have nothing now, provide food for them, and provide all basic needs and very important medicines in light of the high prices that we are experiencing now.‏ The most important thing that I am currently focusing on in light of the lack of means of life and education in Gaza is getting out of the war, saving our souls, and traveling to Egypt, which will cost a lot of money, and my dream is to obtain it through this campaign, complete my education abroad, and live in peace with me and my sad and afflicted family. ‏Your influence:‏Every contribution, regardless of its size, will play a crucial role in rebuilding all that has been lost. Your support goes beyond financial aid. It is a lifeline that helps us regain our sense of normalcy in these difficult times. ‏I am truly grateful for your time, interest and support. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our lives, helping us turn the page toward a brighter and more hopeful chapter.‏ To stay in touch:‏Follow my journey on Instagram mosa.hammad1 to get regular updates and a closer look at the progress we are making together. Let's rebuild hope, one brick at a time.‏ Thank you for being part of this journey.‏

Help Mosa&Family evacuating Rafah! To Egypt

<div>On April 1st, 2023 we arrived to Compton Community Garden to find a *massive* “For Sale” sign overshadowing our thriving &amp; community-run green space.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were devastated; after making some calls, we realized how very real this was. Our beloved garden - a free &amp; truly communal urban garden feeding free food to the people of Compton for over a decade - was for sale, without warning or consideration to the humans serving this nor the communities, ecosystems &amp; lives this would impact right here in Compton/North Long Beach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even worse, we found out that there is currently an open offer on the land from an outside developer for $488,000 - we MUST raise enough to cover the sale of the land plus any taxes and expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have until TUESDAY to submit our counter offer and acquire the land that our community - and the native people before us - have so deeply nourished &amp; received nourishment from.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Community gardens mean nothing if we don’t own the land that we are cultivating our foods &amp; communities upon. We must own &amp; operate our communities from within - only through finding a path to community land ownership can we achieve true sovereignty within our neighborhoods in Compton, South Central, Watts and beyond.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are tired of outside developers dictating our own neighborhoods, businesses, food systems, and social structures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is an opportunity to take back what is rightfully ours - and express to the world that WE will stand and fight as one until we find a sustainable solution for safe green spaces like CCG to exist, feed, and cultivate diverse communities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>———
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is our plan of action:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tuesday, May 2nd: Compton City Council Meeting - let’s flood city hall and let ‘em know the significant social, cultural, ecological, educational &amp; community impact CCG has affected in Compton &amp; Northside Long Beach
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Saturday, May 6: Save Compton Community Garden Function! - join us at our garden for a day of food, community, live sounds, plant demonstrations, local biz &amp; resources, and much more. This is a fundraiser and community celebration - we are grateful for this space and community regardless what happens. Come celebrate Compton and show support for our cause.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>———
</div>
<div>About Compton Community Garden:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Compton Community Garden is a communal effort to directly address social and ecological inequalities in Compton &amp; beyond. An entirely organic, regenerative, and community-run garden, CCG’s core mission is to feed healthy natural foods to the immediate community in Compton &amp; North Long Beach for free; to act as a resource for community empowerment &amp; ecological consciousness, encouraging a more shared, self-sustaining way of life in harmony with the natural world. Beyond a place to grow &amp; feed, Compton Community Garden is a hub for social &amp; cultural exchange - a safe space for exploring mental health, direct democracy, music, books, ideologies, and life experiences. Through cultivating community, CCG treats gardening as a social and spiritual practice, feeding our bodies, minds &amp; communities synergistically
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>*any donations of $50K or above will be commemorated with a very special token of our appreciation for your commitment to Compton Community Garden
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you all so much. What happens here will set the precedent for communal green spaces to exist in every community around LA, the country, the world. We appreciate each and every human standing alongside us &lt;3
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div>**Funds are being collected by an allied community nonprofit Let's Rebuild Tuskegee, who will hold the fundraised dollars for Compton Community garden while we re-organize our nonprofit structure. Thank you Aleeyah and team at Let's Rebuild!!

Save Compton Community Garden!

<div><br />
</div>

<div>In the early morning of October 19th, 2022, Patricia Tafoya and her family experienced a tragic house fire. Thankfully the family was able to make it out of the house but they lost everything.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Our father, Zacarias Tafoya, fell and hit his head running out of the burning house, he experienced internal bleeding and had to undergo surgery. He is currently recovering in the ICU.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Patricia, her daughters and her dad will need to slowly replace everything and we would appreciate any help in any way possible. We are hoping the community can rally behind them during this difficult time to get them back on their feet.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Funds will go towards towards housing, food, clothing, personal care necessities, bills, and to help restore some of their belongings.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>We appreciate anything and everything you can do to support Patricia and family during this devastating time. While grieving the loss of their home, and everything they have ever owned and have worked so hard for. We are grateful for their safety and wishing for dad a speedy recovery.

<div>This next step in my transition will help me to feel like my most authentic self. I can start to feel truly at home in my body. And sadly my body can no longer tolerate binding as an option for concealing my chest. I can only bind a maximum of 4 hours until I feel sharp pains in my ribs. But with this surgery I will no longer have to worry about day to day inconveniences! I will be able to go out into the world just as me. As for the surgery, I will be having a double incision mastectomy with a nipple graft ✨

<div>Having the support of my community and friends would truly mean so much to me. Whatever you can give will be a big help. If you’re not able to give, please please share this where ever you can! Thank you so much!

Funeral expenses

We are starting this go fund me page for our dear sister to help her cover vet costs for her beloved rescue pitbull Duncan. He is seven years old and is a sweet loving boy. He is the light of my sisters life, her best buddy, shadow and protector. He had a rough life before finding his way into our sisters loving heart and home.  She rescued him and he rescued her right back. His gratitude for her is evident by his extreme devotion to her. Our sisters life has not been an easy one, much like Duncan’s early life and she continues, to struggle through without complaint, always making the best of things with very little, and is filled with deep faith and gratitude. Yesterday, she was devastated to find out that Duncan likely has spleen cancer and needs to have it removed if he has any chance of survival. We are hoping it was found soon enough so hopefully  it hasn’t spread. The quote was $6500. Our sister does not have the means to pay for this. She is dealing with a broken furnace and her van is in constant need of repair, three times this month alone, and it is her only vehicle. She lives paycheck to paycheck with very little for herself, doing without cable and other basic necessities. She even recycles for extra cash to make ends meet. Please, we ask for your help in covering  the cost of Duncan’s surgery and for prayers for his speedy recovery and long life ahead loving and being loved. Thank you so much for your kindness,  God Bless you.

FOR THE LOVE OF DUNCAN

Enrique is a father, husband, son, employee, leader, friend, and music and health enthusiast. He has been independent and a provider his whole life. He has been working for LMU for over 13 years and he loves every aspect of his job. We love him so much. After weeks of pain, weight loss, doctor visits, and different treatments, we received a diagnosis. No one was more shocked than Enrique. On January 19th of 2015, Enrique was diagnosed with Stage 4 of metastatic cancer. <br /><br />            Enrique’s cancer started in the prostate region but has since spread throughout his entire skeleton (concentrated on his spine, shoulders and hips) and lymph nodes. The affected areas such as his spine, arms and hips make his movement limited and painful. He has lost strength. Standing for a long period of time is difficult. He has begun with chemotherapy and the side effects are hard to bear. Enrique has been away from work since December of 2014, and there is currently no clear timetable for his return. Your donation would help Enrique cover co-payments, deductibles, treatments, diet expenses, and personal care products. We thank you for your kindness and willingness to make a difference in his life. We pray and work towards a speedy recovery so that he can be the man that he is destined to be.
