<div>Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I’m hoping to raise funds for my friends Julia, Nicola and their mum Mary, who own Farmyard Friends CIC.
</div>
<div>Farmyard Friends is an animal therapy farm set up as a place of sanctuary for children/adults with additional needs, based in the village of Messingham.
</div>
<div>Over the past 2 weeks, utter devastation has hit the farm. On Sunday 29th March, a freak weather event (apparently a tornado) hit causing multiple wooden buildings to collapse. Luckily no animals were injured.
</div>
<div>Julia and her family had just started to get these rebuilt with the kind help of local volunteers.
</div>
<div>Things started to get back on track.
</div>
<div>But then on Monday morning of 6th April, she went to feed all her animals only to find 4 turkeys and 8 sheep missing.
</div>
<div>Thieves had broken in and taken them.
</div>
<div>This has completely broken the family. 
</div>
<div>All the animals have a special place in their hearts, with a story and names. They are pets.
</div>
<div>Julia is a single mum who runs the farm alongside caring for her 2 sons with additional needs. She spends 7 days a week there, rarely gets a day off, and does it for the love of the animals and the joy they bring to people who spend time with them.
</div>
<div>As a friend I’ve felt helpless. Not knowing how I could support.
</div>
<div>The police have recommended having some security cameras put up. So that’s what I’m hoping to raise funds for. It will hopefully give them peace of mind going forward.
</div>

Farmyard Friends CIC purchase security cameras

With Katy and Ben's permission we are starting a Go Fund Me page. <br /><br />Katy and Ben are a newly married couple who have a gorgeous 4 year old daughter called Sofia. Sofia has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia and has been admitted to Sheffield’s Children Hospital, where she has started chemotherapy. Unfortunately, this means that Sofia and Katy will be staying at the hospital in Sheffield for at least 6 weeks, but due to Covid-19, Ben is not able to stay overnight at the hospital with his family. We are trying to raise some funds to enable Ben the opportunity to stay in Sheffield with his family. It is vital that him, his wife and daughter are close together and can support one another during this difficult time. The money raised will also be used for food for both Katy and Ben as this is not provided by the hospital. <br /><br />If you can, please help this lovely, young family who deserve a break. Any amount is greatly appreciated and would allow Katy and Ben to focus all of their energy on their little princess. As you can imagine, Katy and Ben are devastated and although they are truly grateful for all the help and support, they have asked that people respect their privacy at this upsetting time

<p>We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but determined spirits to ask for your help for my beloved big sister Sue. At 48 years old, Sue is facing the battle of her life, and she needs our collective strength, support, and generosity to get through it. 
</p><br />
<p>If you know Sue, you know she is the absolute life of any room she walks into. She is fiercely independent, incredibly kind, and—above all—absolutely hilarious. Her sharp wit, quick jokes, and brilliant sense of humour have a way of lifting everyone around her, even now, during the darkest chapter of her life. 
</p><br />
<p>Sue lives in Scotter and is a devoted single mum to three wonderful children. Her family has already endured unimaginable heartbreak; just 18 months ago, her youngest son tragically lost his father to cancer. Now, this fragile family is facing another devastating blow, and Sue is fighting with everything she has to stay right here with them. 
</p><br />
<p>For over a decade, Sue has brought that same warmth and infectious energy to her job as an early years teacher at a local primary school. She has spent years giving her all to our community's children, teaching them with endless patience, love, and no doubt a lot of laughter. Now, it’s our turn to give back to the woman who has brought so much joy to so many.

<p>The Battle and The Hope 
</p><br />
<p>Five months ago, Sue was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She immediately began an intense course of Folfirinox chemotherapy, facing the grueling side effects with her trademark bravery. Devastatingly, a recent scan revealed that despite the chemo, the cancer has progressed. 
</p><br />
<p>Standard treatments are hitting a wall, but we refuse to give up hope. There is an advanced Histotripsy treatment available that targets liver tumours using specialized ultrasound technology. However, because this groundbreaking treatment is not currently available to Sue on the NHS, we have to fund it privately. 
</p><br />
<p>We urgently need to raise £40,000 to cover the cost of this specialized care and give my big sister Sue the chance she deserves to beat this disease. 
</p><br />

<p>Sue is a proud single mum whose entire world revolves around her three kids. She needs to be here to watch them grow up, to navigate the big milestones with them, and to heal the heartache they’ve already suffered. The world needs her laughter, her school needs her passion, and her children need their mum.
