Both my wife Shirl and I are facing ongoing medical expenses. I have not seen improvement in my health and in some cases it is getting worse. I'm on oxygen 24/7 and have to pay rental for both a home concentrator and a portable one. I'm also being treated for CLL and COPD, which has limited my ability to go places or attend events outside my home.
Shirl had major back surgery years ago and is in constant pain, on various medications, and has a back stimulator to help ease the pain. She also has Pulmonary Fibrosis, Asthma, and COPD, which require necessary scans and medications that are very expensive.
These health challenges have made daily life much more difficult, both physically and financially. Our health has not improved and in some cases is getting worse. These conditions have necessary scans and medications which are very expensive. The costs of medical care, equipment, and ongoing treatments are overwhelming, and it can be hard to keep up with everything on a fixed income.
Neither of us can work outside of the home and limited breathing limits any phone work from home. There are days when just covering the basics (food, utilities etc.) feels like a struggle, and the stress of these expenses only adds to the burden of managing our health.
Some support will help offset the monthly medical expenses and equipment rentals, giving us more breathing room with bills and helping us focus on our health. It will also help us manage the stress that comes with these ongoing costs, so we can put more energy into our recovery and well-being.
To those of you reading this, any help will be appreciated and I know God will bless you. It will make a huge difference for us as well. Thank you ever so much!
