- Hi everyone! My name is Jazmine, and I am a high school senior preparing for college. Over the past four years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and teach students who are blind and visually impaired. Those experiences have completely shaped who I am and what I hope to do with my life. Watching my students grow, advocate for themselves, and discover their strengths has inspired me to continue investing in the lives of others. It’s shown me just how powerful access, encouragement, and education can be. Because of this, my goal is to become a special education teacher, specifically working with blind and low-vision students. I want to help create inclusive classrooms where every student feels supported, valued, and capable of success. I’m also deeply interested in global education and how it impacts people who are blind around the world. Access to resources, mobility training, and adaptive learning looks very different depending on where you live, and I hope one day to be part of expanding opportunities for blind students both locally and globally. As I prepare for college, I’m facing expenses like tuition, books, housing, and everyday necessities. While I’m doing everything I can to prepare, I’m reaching out for support to help make this dream possible. Any donation, big or small, will help ease the financial stress and allow me to focus fully on my education and future career. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much. Thank you for believing in me and being part of my journey. I’m incredibly grateful for every ounce of love and support With gratitude, Jazmine
