<div>It’s with extreme sadness that we share our beloved brother and friend has lost his battle with cancer. Mike courageously and tirelessly fought long and hard to beat terrible disease. Mike’s infectious smile and laugh could always light up a room. He loved his wife Lynn and children, Ben and Milly, wholeheartedly and beyond words can say.

<div><strong>What She Deals With Every Day</strong>

<div>Carli has chronic nausea. Severe constipation that keeps her trapped at home for hours after taking her medication. She leaks urine constantly and has to wear pads. When she stands up, her heart races and she gets so dizzy she has to sit back down. She sweats through her clothes. Her hands shake.

<div>She's been homeschooled since March 2023 because she physically can't handle school. She can't make plans because she never knows how she'll feel. Her friends have mostly stopped asking. She's 18—she should be thinking about college and her future. Instead she's managing incontinence and wondering if she'll ever feel normal.

<div><strong>We Finally Found Doctors Who Believe Her</strong>

<div>We've been trying to get help for years. So many doctors either couldn't figure it out or acted like maybe it was in her head. Do you know what it's like watching your kid cry because another doctor doesn't believe her?

<div>This week we're at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Finally—FINALLY—doctors are listening. They know what chemo does to young children who must get it to survive. They're running real tests. Carli has hope for the first time in forever.

<div>Here's the situation: I can barely work because Carli needs constant care and has appointments constantly. I tried doing Amazon Flex delivery, and I've done one shift. ONE. My husband's getting laid off in April.

<div>We're staring down Mayo Clinic bills piling up, and a kid who finally has a shot at getting better if we can just afford to follow through with treatment.
