Sara is a young girl who has already endured more pain than most people face in a lifetime.
In 2020, Sara lost her father after a painful battle with COVID-19. He was the only provider and the pillar of strength for their small family. After his passing, it was just Sara and her mother, holding on to each other and trying to survive with limited means but strong faith and love.
Then, on March 10, tragedy struck again. A devastating fire broke out in their home. The flames spread quickly, leaving them with no time to save their belongings. In a single night, Sara and her mother lost everything their home, their clothes, their memories, and the last physical reminders of her father. Everything was reduced to ashes. But the loss was not only material. During the fire, Sara suffered second-degree burns to her head. The injuries caused permanent scarring and the loss of her hair. The physical pain was intense, but the emotional pain runs even deeper. A young girl who should be dreaming about her future is now facing trauma, insecurity, and the fear of being judged because of her scars.
Today, Sara and her mother are homeless. They have no stable shelter, no warm bed during these cold nights, and no provider to support them. Every day is a struggle just to survive.
We are raising funds to help:
• Provide safe and stable housing
• Cover medical treatment and ongoing care for Sara’s burns
• Support psychological therapy to help her heal emotionally
• Help them rebuild their lives with dignity
• Give Sara the opportunity to return to school and regain her confidence
Your donation no matter how small can make a life-changing difference.
Your support means warmth, safety, medical care, and hope. Most importantly, it tells Sara that she is not alone in this world.
