Hi, I'm Iryna. I recently travelled to Albania to visit my family, and as it's so common there, every neighbourhood seems to have at least one stray dog wandering around. This time, I met a little puppy named Nala — she's only about a year old. A group of boys hadn't been treating her kindly, and because of that, Nala ended up with a broken back leg. She's still just a baby. When I found her in the neighbourhood, she had actual tears in her eyes. She was trembling….. and you could see the pain she was in just by looking at her. My heart completely broke for her. She's so small, so young, and she doesn't understand why this has happened to her. We’re desperately trying to save Nala’s paw. What started as a small injury has turned into something serious, and now she needs surgery—and she needs it fast. Watching her try to walk, wincing with every step, breaks my heart. She still looks at us with those same loving eyes, trusting us to help her… and we will. But we can’t do it alone. The cost of her operation is more than we can cover, and every hour we wait is another hour she’s in pain. Nala’s fighting, and we’re fighting with her, but we need help to give her the chance she deserves. If you can donate, share, or even send a kind word—it means more than you know.
