<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Caleb Hawkins, a beloved son, friend, and bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Caleb Hawkins was a fun, outgoing, and vibrant young man who had an incredible ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he went. Whether it was through his infectious smile and obnoxious laugh, his sense of adventure, or the love he shared so freely, he touched the hearts of many and made a difference in the lives of those around him.

<div>My name is Leslie Kimble and I'm a single mother of three. On june 1st of this year my beautiful daughter Brooke was in a very bad car accident and unfortunately she didn't make it. She was only 26.
</div>
<div>My family and I are all very devastated. She was the most kind hearted person anyone could ever know. She would give anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it, no matter who they are. She loved helping people, most times she put others around her before herself. She deserves the absolute best service so we can honor her memory and say our goodbyes until we meet again one day.

<div>We of course weren't prepared for this to happen so I'm asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses. We would like to raise 5,000 within a week so we can afford her service. Honoring Brooke: Fundraiser for Funeral Expenses

<div>We will miss everything about him especially his witty sense of humor. With his unexpected passing comes multiple expenses and makes this time of grieving more difficult. Kyle Caverly’s Family Fundraiser

This fundraiser is for helping David and Laura Barhydt with David's extra medical expenses. All of the money raised will go directly towards costs of commuting to treatments in Sacramento,  hotel stays near the hospital ( which is required by his cancer study) and outside meals during David's 8 daily chemo sessions. <strong>This treatment series repeats every 5 weeks.  </strong><br /><br />This past summer, David was diagnosed with MDS which is <strong>Myeloid Dysplastic Syndrome</strong>. It is a cancer of the bone marrow where his body cannot make new healthy blood cells that reach maturity. He currently needs regular transfusions to keep his red blood cells and platelets at a level healthy enough to receive his chemo treatments, there are repeated bone marrow biopsies and frequent blood work monitoring.   <br /><br />Thankfully, David has been accepted into a trial study through <strong>UC Davis </strong>that has shown success in treating this disease. MDS can turn into a bad form of Leukemia;  acute myeloid leukemia so that is what they <strong>hope to prevent</strong>. His most recent biopsy shows some very positive results. The trial he is in uses standard chemo plus the study drug which is supposed to make the chemo work better because it is an immunotherapy drug. They have had good results in the trial and are now checking on increasing the dose.   <br /><br />While Laura is getting better and better at coping with downtown traffic, and she and David are tolerating their home away from home at the hotel next to the hospital, none of us are getting better at coping with unprecedented fuel rates and Covid restrictions. Yikes.   <br /><br />I have received many inquiries from friends of David asking how they can help. During Covid, of course David cannot have visitors, which makes these hospital treatment weeks especially hard. Additionally, he has had 2 recent, unexpected hospital stays to battle a serious blood infection.<br /><br />Cards and phones calls are very much appreciated so don't stop those, but it's time to do more. We can gather our good wishes together with a little donation to soften the financial burden and show them we all are thinking about him and Laura.   <br /><br /><strong>I thank you for everything you can do.   </strong><br /><br />Debby T

<p>Hi, I am Cori, Laurie's sister and tonight Laurie's house burnt down and she lost everything! She has had so much heartbreak in her life and this is just so devastating! Her and her son have lost so much. She got her animals out of the house but now she is so worried that she won't be able to find them and is worried her dog did not get out of the fire. I just brought her over some clothes and essentials because she has lost everything and did not even have any shoes on her feet. Please help anyway you can and thank you all for caring:)
