Support Johan's Surgery After Motorcycle Accident

<div>My name is Roberto David Maldonado Galván and I am a classical and jazz guitarist from La Manzanilla, Jalisco in Mexico.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I graduated from the Music Department of the University of Nuevo León with multiple awards in classical guitar in 2023. My musical interests led me to Xalapa, Veracruz, where I am pursuing a degree in jazz studies at the University of Veracruz. I have participated in many national and international jazz festivals over the past 3 years.

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

<div><span>I'm thrilled to share that </span><strong>I have been accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.</strong><span> Out of a hundred applicants, I was one of three selected for a $14,000 U.S. scholarship, awarded based on a video submission of my guitar performance. However, despite this achievement, the scholarship only partially covers the significant costs of attending Berklee. </span><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>With a semester's tuition at $24,000 U.S. and estimated living expenses of $10,000, I urgently need financial support to make my dream of studying in Boston a reality.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your contribution would mean the world to me, helping bridge the financial gap and enabling me to focus on my music education. I'm passionate about sharing my music to promote artistic expression and cultural exchange. Your support will be helping me fulfill a lifelong dream as well as helping me give back to my community.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My goal is to contribute to the growth of contemporary and classical music, to build bridges between Latin American music communities in the U.S. and Mexico, and to empower other young musicians.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you, in advance, for helping me achieve my dream.

Making music happen; support David’s Berklee dream

<div>Hi,
</div>
<div>Marsha, here, again. Lloyd is continuing to need support with his medical issues. We did a good job with the last fundraiser. The cancer was discovered when he went in to see about a hip replacement. He has been playing for us with terrible pain in his hip for many years. He has finally completed the infusion to treat the cancer and has had the hip replacement surgery. However, this will keep him homebound for a good 6 weeks. Meanwhile, the bills pile up.
</div>
<div>Please donate as much as you can and share freely with others who know him. All proceeds will go directly to Lloyd. Thank you!
