<div>At <strong>David Boone Ministries Incorporated (DBMI)</strong>, a non-profit organization where we serve senior centers and operate <strong>Home Delivered Meals for Seniors</strong> and <strong>Congregate Meals</strong> across <strong>10 counties in Southwest Arkansas</strong>. Every day, we reach hundreds of homebound seniors who rely on us for nourishment, dignity, and human connection.

<div>Right now, our mission is at serious risk. Because of the delay in funding from the government shutdown, the funding stream we depend on has been interrupted. Without immediate support, we will be forced to reduce or cease service—leaving seniors hungry and isolated when they need us most.

<div>Here’s where we stand:

<div>We need <strong>$350,000</strong> to keep our doors open and continue delivering meals and providing a safe space for Seniors to congregate for the next <strong>90</strong> <strong>days</strong>.

<div>Every dollar you give goes directly to supplies, food, delivery logistics, and the staff and volunteers who make it possible.

<li>Hi, my name is Neha Patillo, and I have a 3-year-old son named Zakariya. We are currently going through a really tough situation right now, and we are needing the kindness of the wonderful people around us. We don't have many family members in our lives, nor do we have friends. We have been somewhat isolated, if that's what you want to call it, from anyone that doesn't meet the criteria of my soon-to-be ex-husband. Unfortunately, I am going through a domestic violence situation, and having a toddler with no village to help and mental health issues thrown in can cause me to have a few breakdowns every now and then. But of course, to my ex, it's great for him. So, my living situation is currently a shelter. It's not the best, but we are safe. He took the family car (OF COURSE). I don't know why I would expect anything less from him. The thing with that is I have this amazing job that's been put on hold since I don't have a vehicle. I'm currently trying to build my credit with my secured card, but I'm needing a vehicle sooner to be able to work for my son and me. That's all I need, then I just know I would be able to succeed in getting us a home . I've been so stressed out lately; I feel like such a failure. This is definitely not what I wanted to bring a human into the world for—to suffer or be sad. I prayed for my son, my sweet baby, for years. I lost my first at 6 months . Then at 30, God finally gave me my blessing after begging Him so many days and nights to please let me be a mother. I'll do right by my baby . I hope God and my son can forgive me for letting this happen to us. I'm heartbroken. I lost my marriage, home, car, safety, and trust. I feel empty, but I know God will give everything back to me, minus the abuse . Leaving was the hardest decision I had to make, but the best for both my son and me . If you can just help with $1 or anything, that would be absolutely amazing. But if you can say a prayer for us, that's worth more than all the gold in the world to us right now .
