<div>On November 12, 2025, Bre'Asia was taken from us far too soon when she was tragically killed by a bullet while shielding the children riding in the back seat of the car. Bre'Asia's final, selfless act was to protect the very children she loved with all her heart.

<div>Bre'Asia was not only a devoted mother to her 7-year-old, 6-year-old, and 2-year-old children, but she was also five months pregnant with another child at the time of her passing. She was looking forward to expanding her family and giving this new life the same love and care she gave to her other children. Tragically, her children are now left behind, without their mother, and the unborn child will never have the chance to know the love and warmth Bre'Asia was so ready to give.

Honor Bre'Asia Simone

<div>My name is Jenn. I'm a wife mother grandmother and cancer warrior. Three and a half years ago a lump was discovered in my left breast. That lump turned out to be cancer. The cancer was extremely aggressive in my body and my oncology team decided to do a double mastectomy. While healing and dealing with multiple complications from said double mastectomy my body continued to inform me that something just wasn't quite right. I continued to set up appointments with my primary care physician and they continued to gaslight me that nothing was wrong with me. they informed me that many women experience quote unquote phantom pains after a mastectomy and that most of the time the pains are in the woman's head. I say advocate for yourself. No one knows your body better than you do. After struggling I finally found an oncology team in Wichita Kansas that would listen to me. Thank you Dr. Shaker Dahkil. Dr. Dahkil took the necessary steps to get the pet scans and CT scans and lab work done that were necessary. After receiving the results from the lab work and the multiple scans Dr. Dakhil informed me that my cancer had returned and had metastasized into my bones and my liver. I also have a new tumor growing out of the tip of my breastbone. It is terminal and uncurable. Our best hope is for remission. They are starting me on a new experimental treatment with anti-hormone therapy and Bone strengthening treatments. After 3 months of these treatments I move on to chemotherapy. After chemotherapy I move on to radiation. The doctors will not give me a timeline. They say it all depends on how I react to the treatments. All I want is a chance. These medications cost over $10,000 per month. The insurance that my husband had would not cover these medications as they are on their excluded list. All of this is going to have to come out of pocket. With the cancer having spread into my bones it is causing me a lot of pain and fatigue. I can no longer do my job as an nemt driver due to said pain. I'm doing what I can currently running a roadside bakery stand but unfortunately I won't be able to do that everyday. As everyday gets tougher my bones hurt more and more. This has been very very difficult for me to do to ask for help. But this is where I'm at. All I can ask for is help. Anything helps. Cancer Warrior Jenn faces huge treatment bills

I know I’ve been asking for prayers a lot, but we got a call back from moms Dr last night regarding her pathology results from last Thursday’s surgery. 14 of the 21 lymph nodes came back positive for cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 3 and will be getting a port and starting chemotherapy as soon as her body heals. We don’t really have much more information until she does her official follow up with her surgeon on Tuesday. For now, I’m asking for help to cover her bills while she’s unable to work. This was completely unexpected and has rocked and changed her entire world! She is unable to work now and, if she is able to return, it will be quite a ways down the road. If y’all didn’t know, Pam Britton raised all her children on her own, with ZERO help from either fathers. She did whatever it took to make sure we were always taken care of. As we became adults, she still continues to try to take care of us and our children. She is always giving so much to everyone else and saving the scraps for herself. She’s got the biggest heart and would literally give you her most prized possession if she thought it would put a smile on your face, for even just a moment. She’s an amazing granny and the kids just love her so much! She’s the sister everyone can depend on. The significant other that turns the house into a home. The mother that’s always making miracles happen. The granny that signifies what a grandparent is, from the roots to the tops of the mountains. She’s literally everything and she doesn’t deserve this…. BUT I KNOW SHE’S STRONG ENOUGH TO CONQUER THIS &amp; so does God So please, pray for her. For strength. For rest. For positive mental thoughts. For loving space. For a quick recovery. For life to go back to normal. And, for her to live HER dreams. For her. And let her experience be your warning… GO. GET. TESTED. Mom had NO symptoms. No fatigue or exhaustion. No pain or bowel changes. No unexplained weight loss or gain. Nothing. This was caught by chance and it’s already stage 3! GO. NOW.

<div>2. When it comes to work and knowledge, he is by far one of the most knowledgeable people and hardest workers in the industry.

<div>Mike drove a truck for over 20+ years before he retired from driving; and accepted a Site supervisor Position with ATS. Mike has influenced many over his years of service and continues.

<div>In December of last year, Mike started to feel "a cold" coming on, but it didn't get better. In January of this year, he ended up in Emergency with what was thought to be Vertigo. That led to weeks of "not getting better" to a specialist visit that diagnosed Cancer.

<div>Mike has started Chemo and Radiation with a good prognosis, but as most of us in this industry, bills mount, and no insurance to cover a lot. Not to mention being without work for 4 months now. Mike does not ask for handouts, nor does he expect them. I asked Mike if a fundraiser was started, would he be upset or opposed and for the first time ever I heard something not usually heard from him. He said if anyone wanted to help, he wouldn't oppose, which those that really know him would agree that isn't Mike typically. He is the giver and helper.

<div>Mike has one mindset right now, the last date of treatment and the first date he can "start" working again. That is what gets him through the days. As without work of some sorts he has nothing. Lately, talking to Mike, most days are rough (health feeling wise), but if you speak to him, he has a story to share, and his story explains that if you wake up with life, you need to be grateful as some don't get that opportunity. And because of that, he is very grateful, even with how terrible he is feeling, that he can have that.

<div>Mike does not have insurance. The cost of the multiple visits and the treatment is, as we all know, pretty astronomical. Mike isn't asking for handouts, but if anyone wants to help with this while he battles and focuses on being able to return to work. It would be appreciated. If you're not able to help but could share or even send a card, I am sure that would be greatly appreciated. Mike is not on social media, but he does know I am doing this.

Sometimes someone we know gets a curve ball...

My precious cousin Durenda Brawner Eppinett passed away suddenly today at the young age  of 52.  This unexpected loss of this beautiful soul is more than devastating to her family and friends.  Durenda was a person who will be remembered for her loving heart, infectious laugh, and for her kindness to others.  She loved life, never met a stranger, and was loved by all who knew her.  During this difficult time, I am asking anyone who is financially willing and able, to help us relieve some of the financial burden of a funeral expense on this sweet family.  Her husband Joel, daughter Kandyce, and granddaughter Kaitlyn, along with her entire family and countless friends would be grateful with any donation you could offer.   Thank you in advance, and please keep Durenda’s family in your prayers today and for days to come.

My name is Karen, and I’m the primary breadwinner for my household, which includes my adult autistic son and our small farm of animals. Back in October, while working on my fence to keep my goats safe, I pinched a nerve in my neck. This injury has cut off circulation to my right arm, causing constant pain and muscle spasms. I haven’t been able to work since then, and I’m scheduled for surgery on the 10th. With no income coming in, my bills have been stacking up, and I’ve even lost access to food stamps due to changes in government assistance. My son, although high functioning, has trouble driving and isn’t able to work, so I’m responsible for making sure we’re all cared for.

 Our small farm is home to eight goats—seven of whom are pregnant—a pig, five dogs, and six cats. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward feeding my animals, providing food for myself and my son, keeping the insurance on our home, and fixing a propane leak so we can cook safely. Right now, we’re relying on a two-burner electric stove top, which makes things even more challenging. Every bit of support will help us get through this difficult time and make sure our basic needs are met.

 It’s hard for me to reach out and ask for help. If I could go to work and earn the money, I would. I’ve had blessings in my life, and I truly appreciate any and all help I receive from others.
