I’m reaching out for help after an unexpected car accident left me and my niece without reliable transportation. On April 3, 2026, while driving north on Ridgewood Avenue to pick up my niece, a teenage bicyclist suddenly appeared riding toward my car without visible lights. In an effort to avoid a collision, I made an immediate right turn, lost control of my vehicle, and struck a tree. By the grace of God, the bicyclist walked away with only minor scrapes. I am deeply grateful that no lives were lost and that the situation was not worse.
Unfortunately, the accident left my vehicle with serious damage, and I am now facing the financial burden that followed. I had just purchased this car only one week before the accident. Now, my vehicle remains at the tow yard, and the repair costs, towing fees, and related expenses are more than I can manage on my own. Without collision insurance, these costs fall entirely on me, making this situation especially overwhelming.
I am also the primary caregiver for my niece, who has been living with me for the past two years. Reliable transportation is not just a convenience for us—it is a necessity for school, appointments, daily responsibilities, and being prepared for emergencies. I am feeling overwhelmed but hanging on and trusting God's plan for me. Any form of support would make my burden a little less heavy. Every donation or share, no matter the size, brings us closer to getting back on the road and moving forward. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your help truly makes a difference.
