<div>Our sweet Sadie-Lynn was born at just 26 weeks and 5 days, weighing only 1 pound 14 ounces. What started as a routine prenatal visit quickly turned into an emergency when I suddenly developed severe preeclampsia. Within days, I had to undergo an emergency C-section when Sadie-Lynn went into distress.
</div>
<div>She spent the first 5 months of her life in the NICU, fighting every single day to survive. It was the most heartbreaking and terrifying time of our lives—but also where we saw just how strong our little girl truly is.
</div>
<div>While we are so grateful to now have her home, her journey is far from over.
</div>
<div>Sadie-Lynn continues to face ongoing medical challenges, including a congenital heart condition, chronic lung disease, and feeding difficulties that require a G-tube. She currently is pending a procedure to change to a GJ Tube as she is not tolerating the G Tube. Her sever reflux is causing her to have moments of absent breathing. She requires constant care, frequent medical appointments, and ongoing therapies to support her development and health.

<div>Due to the severity of her condition, Sadie-Lynn has been declared medically disabled by her physician and requires a parent to be home full-time to care for her. Because of this, our family has become a one-income household.
</div>
<div>Between medical expenses, therapy costs, specialized equipment, and daily care needs, the financial strain continues to grow as we do everything we can to give her the best possible life.
</div>
<div>We are asking for support to help ease the burden of these ongoing expenses so we can focus on what matters most—caring for our daughter and helping her continue to grow and thrive.
</div>
<div>Sadie-Lynn is our miracle and our fighter. She has already overcome so much, and we know she has so much more ahead of her.

Amy Humphries was nothing short of the sweetest, most kind hearted, intelligent, beautiful woman you could have ever met. Her life brought light, laughs and love with her wherever she went. On Tuesday, April 20th, our beloved sister, daughter, and aunt was tragically taken from us by the hands of a monster. This unexpected loss has left our family so heartbroken and devastated. We know how tough times are right now for everybody, but we ask if you would like to donate any amount of money to help with funeral costs or to just leave some kind words in honor of her, it would be more than greatly appreciated. Amy would give the shirt off her back to help anybody at anytime..

Upon arrival, the Parrish medical team worked hastily and had her airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital. The Arnold Palmer team members were prepped and ready to go. Miracles were performed that day by an amazing group of individuals who worked steadily to save a young girl's life while close family and friends waited anxiously nearby. <br /><br /> <br /><br />Dakotah is now stable but still in critical condition, although getting better by the day. Doctors explained that she will have a long road to recovery ahead.<br /><br /> <br /><br />As the holiday season begins, her mother, a single mother of three kids will be out of work supporting her daughter during this difficult time. We're hoping to remove some of the financial stress from medical bills that we anticipate over the weeks to come as we get close to the holidays.  Whatever you can give, no matter how big or small, will be immensely helpful and deeply appreciated in this time of need. ❤️ #dakotahstrong
