Update: September 15, 2026 5 days away from the number 1! It’s been a long journey, but things have been looking up lately. I know many posts have focused on the negative aspects, so I wanted to share some positive updates. We’re doing much better now. One evening, she pulled out her gastrostomy tube and ended up having it replaced. Between the gastroenterologists and the surgeons, they believe something translucent may have been causing her to vomit so much. Two months later, the vomiting has significantly decreased. She’s gaining weight and becoming more attentive. She has other issues that will be resolved in time, but she’s doing much better than she was just a few months ago.
