I’m fundraising to buy my first car because getting around has become a real challenge. As a college student majoring in business and working, I’ve been relying on friends and rideshare apps like Uber to get to work and class. While I’m grateful for the help, I don’t want to be a burden or dependent on others, especially since everyone has their own busy schedules. Sometimes, finding a ride is stressful and makes it harder to plan my day or take on extra shifts at work.
I also have two cats to provide for, so my car situation has been put on hold while I focus on their needs. I’m not dependent on my parents to buy me a car, and at 19 years old, I want to make this happen on my own. I don’t need anything brand new or luxurious, just something reliable that won’t break down on me. I’ve been saving up, but any help would make a huge difference and help me reach my goal faster.
Having my own car would give me the freedom to work more hours, manage my schedule independently, and take care of my cats without worrying about transportation. Thank you so much—this means a lot to me, no matter how much or little you donate. My gratitude is infinite for any support, even if it’s just sharing my story.
