Humbled request, please help me secure my professional wheelchair basketball dream.
My name is Sphelele Dlamini from South Africa. For the past 10/11 months, I have been in France on trials, chasing my dream of becoming a fully professional wheelchair basketball player so I could earn a contract, support my parents, and change the situation at home.
During this journey, I had no income, no food support—only basketball and accommodation. Despite all the challenges, sacrifices, pain, and risks I took, I kept believing and working hard.
Today, all that hard work has been rewarded with a professional contract for the upcoming season.
However, without a sports wheelchair, this dream cannot become a reality. After everything I have fought for, I am now at risk of losing the opportunity I have worked so hard to earn.
I am humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to keeping this dream alive and starting my professional career.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give.
