<div>In December 2024, Eliseo came into the world extremely premature at just 28 weeks. He is a twin and an IVF baby, and since his birth, he has spent more than seven months in hospital.

<div>In his short life, Eliseo has already undergone 13 surgeries, most of them on his brain. His parents have faced more frightening and uncertain moments than any family should have to experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, Eliseo and his family need our help to give him the best possible chance for his future.

</div>
<div>Eliseo has hydrocephalus and requires two VP shunts because the ventricles in his brain don’t communicate with each other. He has also suffered grade 4 brain bleeds and, following meningitis, has developed multiple large cysts throughout his brain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The shunts are life-saving for Eliseo, but they are prone to becoming blocked. This means he is expected to need adjustments and replacements throughout his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In May, Eliseo became critically ill with meningitis for a second time. He spent another nine weeks in hospital, needed three brain drains, and required one-to-one care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More recently, his parents received another difficult diagnosis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Eliseo has infantile spasms, also known as West syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy that affects brain development and requires early, specialised treatment.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the moment, Eliseo has minimal movement and very low muscle tone. He is unable to lift or control his head and has significant developmental delays.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He is also under the care of an eye clinic because he cannot track or focus with his eyes. His parents are waiting for further tests to understand the extent of his vision and whether he can see.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>There is still so much his family doesn’t know about Eliseo’s future.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Doctors have told his parents that it is doubtful he will ever walk or talk. What they do know is that their little boy will require lifelong care and support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>His parents want to give Eliseo every possible opportunity and the best quality of life they can.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Early intervention is crucial. His family is raising funds to access vital care throughout his life, including occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, weekly physiotherapy, and stem cell treatment.
</div>

</div>
<div>The stem cell treatment his parents are exploring is expensive and would not be a one-time treatment. The options available to Eliseo are abroad, including in Panama, Mexico, and the USA. His parents hope to combine this with intensive therapy to support his development and quality of life.
</div>

<div>The cost of providing this level of ongoing care is overwhelming.
</div>

<div>His parents never imagined they would find themselves asking others for help. They are doing everything in their power for their little boy, but they cannot do it alone.

<div><strong>Eliseo has already survived more in his first year of life than most people face in a lifetime.</strong>

<div>Thirteen surgeries. More than seven months in hospital. Two cases of meningitis. Grade 4 brain bleeds, hydrocephalus, and now a severe form of epilepsy.

<div>And through it all, Eliseo is still here.

<div>His parents cannot know exactly what his future will look like. But they can do everything possible to give him the care, therapy, and opportunities he needs.

 That’s when I told Adrian the truth. I didn’t actually need the money—I was looking for a kind person willing to help a stranger. So I surprised him with $500.

 He told me his wife had a cancerous brain tumor and recently underwent surgery. His son is battling schizophrenia, and Adrian has been going back and forth to the hospital while trying to hold his family together.

 Through all of this, he has fallen seven months behind on his house payments and is terrified of losing their home. He’s doing delivery apps whenever he can just to keep his family afloat.

Help Adrian’s Wife Beat Cancer And Keep Their Home ❤️

<div>Remi has had pain on and off since March. At first, it would come for a day or two and then be gone for weeks. They thought it was typical stuff - maybe growing pains or a muscle strain. Her mom took her to her pediatrician in April and they also thought just growing pains, but referred her to ortho just in case (insurance denied it). When they were in Dallas the week of June 6, the pain started to become constant and severe. They couldn’t get her back into the pediatrician for 2 months so they took her to the ER a few weeks ago so they would do an X-ray. They only x-rayed her long bone and it was normal. The pain persisted so her Dad went into the base clinic and told them about her pain and requested the soonest available appointment. They repeated the x-ray but included her hip and found a “sizable and concerning” lesion on her R pelvis. Then she had additional imaging to confirm Ewings Sarcoma.

<div><strong>Remi will need chemotherapy for 12 weeks, then radiation, and then chemo again for 14 weeks.</strong>

<div>Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead they will need to be at countless doctor appointments and hospital stays. As you can imagine the normal costs of every day living...such as rent, food, gas, car, etc...the medical costs can be astronomical.

Join Remi's Fight Against Ewings Sarcoma

Three years ago, our world was shaken when we received news that our beloved Tim Rodier had been diagnosed with a rare liver condition that would eventually require a transplant.  By summer 2019, Tim had developed a lung condition related to the liver disease and he required 24/7 oxygen to supplement his failing lungs.  He was immediately moved to the top of the liver transplant list, and on Wednesday, September 4th Tim underwent surgery at USC Medical Center for a new liver.  Unfortunately, after a string of complications and several surgeries, this first liver failed.  Tim was put back on the top of the transplant list and on Friday, September 6th he was blessed enough to receive a second new liver.  While Tim's body seems to be accepting this new liver, he faces a host of other complications and is currently fighting for his life in the USC ICU.<br /><br /><br />Tim has proven himself to be the ultimate fighter.  He's a witty, funny, positive, dedicated, talented, loving man, with an indomitable spirit who is fighting to be here for his wife Cindy and their two precious girls Noelle &amp; Lily, as well as his parents, siblings, extended family &amp; friends.<br /><br /><br />Many of you know that Tim is a talented musician who has worked in the music and film scoring industry in LA for almost 2 decades.  He is a self-employed musician, so this long journey to health will take a heavy financial toll on his family.  Tim faces many uphill battles, and he desperately needs our support, prayers, and funds to help his family through the rough days, weeks and months ahead.  We have faith that his positive spirit will fuel him to good health, and we hope you'll consider joining his fight by sharing the burden on his family. Hello! I’m Rikki Simons and I’ve put together this new GoFundMe campaign to help my wife Tavisha and I pay our rent during a two month financial rough patch. We spend all of our time working on art commissions for clients, traveling to conventions to teach and display art, and (in my case) doing auditions for voice over. The work is great when art clients are abundant and timely with payments and auditions win me new gigs that pay quickly. But if payment for either finished artwork or voice over completed spans long gaps of time it can leave us with financial dead zones. We are in one of those dead zones right now and it is making it impossible to scrape together our rent for September and October. Our landlord can be mercurial but forgiving, but I don’t want to risk eviction over a temporary problem.<br /><br />Usually we can weather these gaps by locking down even more work. Sometimes we can also get by with residuals I receive for voice acting, but all of the various streaming and traditional places on cable that show my TV episodes haven’t paid anything out in a year, and the new ZIM movie doesn’t have an official release date yet. It’s strange having a character like GIR and seeing things like a collection of my most famous lines receive over two million views on youtube, but still be the working poor. GIR Fund Me

Greetings friends and neighbors, near and far.<br /><br />It saddens my heart to inform you that we, Dennis and Janet Deans living in Canyon Country Ca. lost our home to a Ca. Wild fire (called the Sand Fire) on Friday, 7/22/16 at approx. 6.00 p.m.<br /><br />The evacuation order came late giving us only 5 minutes to leave. Four hours before we had been told by the forestry service that the fire had burned past us and <br />we should be safe, but that was not to be. We hastily grabbed a few things, each jumping in one vehicle, and left with little more than the clothes on our back.<br /><br />The entire canyon burned, destroying all our homes with the exception one rental unit. Total devastation. I am further saddened as a contractor to lose my collection of tools and equipment of 40 years, all stored in my garage, even my 4×4 Polaris Ranger that I dearly loved and desperately needed.<br /><br />Should this campaign come to fruition we would use the funds to maintain our property, and provide operating expenses for a period up to a year, allowing us time to regroup and adjust our living expenses to our budget. We lost approx. 10,000.00 dollars of monthly income by losing our five rental units on our canyon<br />property.<br /><br />We probably will not be able to rebuild because of insurance limitations. Additionally, the exorbitant cost of building materials coupled with our age, myself 72 in August, my wife 78 in December, does not formulate as sound judgement.<br /><br />Our hearts are heavy; any help that this campaign could give us would so greatly be appreciated.<br /><br />Blessings on you all.

Help the Deans rebuild their lives

My cousin, Manny Hernandez tragically suffered a Cerebral hemorrhage due to a blood clot in his brain on Saturday, May 21st. He was admitted into the hospital and has progressively gotten worse. He is currently in the intensive care unit and undergoing emergency surgery to try and save his life. The doctors say, it’s a 50/50 chance that he could survive the surgery. Even with a successful surgery, there will be permanent damage that will be life altering for him and his family. <br /><br />Manny is only 30 years old. He is a good man that is dependable, hardworking, dedicated and committed to his family. He has worked two jobs for the last two years to put food on the table for his Daughter, Roselyn Leslie, his Mom, and his sisters. His income is necessary to keep the household running and to keep them afloat. Both Manny and his Mom are the sole providers and are currently not working due to this tragic event. One month ago, Manny lost his father to cancer and now lays in the same room, at the same hospital where his father once laid.<br /> <br /> I am asking for help for Manny and his family in getting through this difficult time. All donations received will be used to help with medical costs, rehabilitation, therapy, and will ease some of the financial expenses due to a loss of income, as a result of his medical condition.
