Fayez

My name is Fayez, a war survivor from Gaza now living in Germany. On January 6, 2009, my life changed forever when I was severely injured in the same attack that killed my brother and wounded two other siblings. I lost the entire muscle of my left foot, suffered serious injuries to both my upper and lower limbs, and still carry shrapnel in my right leg. These injuries left me with severe mobility challenges and constant pain. Over the years, I have undergone multiple surgeries in Germany — the latest on November 20, 2024. After this last surgery, I lost my job and can no longer work. Today, I struggle to cover my medical expenses, basic living costs, and to reunite with my wife and father who are still trapped in Gaza.
