<div>Ahmad was still in high school when the conflict began. On the second day, their home was targeted, forcing them to seek refuge in a hospital for a few days before moving to a school. However, the occupation’s relentless displacement tactics and barbaric shelling gave them no peace. The school was surrounded, and after a day, they were forcibly evacuated. They were made to walk south on foot along the Netzarim axis, enduring searches and beatings.

<div>Eventually, Ahmad and his family ended up in a tent in Rafah, where they lived with no food or basic necessities. For days, they struggled to find even flour to eat, often left on the streets. Despite everything, he holds onto hope for a better future and pleads for the world’s help to end this suffering. And when we’re lucky enough to return with something, it’s not uncommon for desperate individuals or armed thieves to steal what little we have.
