Hello everyone ! My name is Cassandra I have started this fundraiser in hopes to help my family during my upcoming surgery I have recently been diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy due to something called cavernous malformation. Over the past five years, my health has steadily declined, and I have endured countless tests and doctor visits with no help or relief just more tests and misdiagnosing! With this Unfortunately, my seizures went unmedicated for a long time, which made things even more difficult for me . This malformation has grown and has  been leaking which has caused massive headaches ,brain fog , memory loss and constant pressure in my eyes and head with onset vertigo, non stop seizures and countless sleepless nights. I was finally referred to a Dr that took the time to listen to me look over my scans and provide the proper diagnosis and treatment plan and I will be forever grateful to him and his team . but it comes with the news that I have to have a craniotomy done on April 16th to remove the cavernous malformation. this surgery is all so sudden and I still can’t believe it. My surgeon said I will be in recovery for at least six weeks total as long as everything goes well! My fiance is currently the only one working in our household providing for our family so this surgery will leave us financially unstable!  He has been my rock through all of this, working tirelessly to support our family . With my inability to work and my upcoming surgery,  I am deeply worried about the financial strain we will face.and the unknown  of the possible outcome of surgery and what may happen ! The funds raised here will go directly toward our living expenses during my recovery, helping to ease the strain on our family as he takes care of me And our 4 year old son .Your support can allow us to focus on my healing and getting through this challenging time together  We would have immense gratitude for anyone willing to donate and help us at this time. Even if you can’t give, prayers, positive vibes, or sharing our story would mean the world to us. This is a scary surgery, and I am absolutely terrified I won’t see my kids or my fiancé again.
