Hi, my name is Candice… I’m fundraising for my friend Kolby. 

Nearly 6 years ago after getting Covid, Kolby became severely weak and bedridden, unable to walk or function ever since. He’s had to quit his job because of all the severe symptoms especially the severe neurological symptoms (like seizures) and an unexplained 80 pound weight loss. Most Doctors didn’t have answers for him, as he’s been to the ER and many specialists many times, receiving answers like “we don’t have a cure for this”, “you’re going to have to live with this for the rest of your life”.  

He finally was able to find a care team of doctors that have answers and hope for him to recover. Now all he needs is the proper support to get there. I created this GoFundme 5 years ago and this has been his saving grace for financial support. I am hoping it will continue to keep him above water. He is always on the lookout for more in-person care (preferably from a trained in-home nurse or a medically trained professional), but as we all know, things like this take time and money. If you aren’t able to help in-person or know someone who can, please consider donating to help Kolby with this brutal, years-long battle he has been thru to gain his health and vitality back. Help Kolby Heal

Boyd Harris has struggled with serious depression for over 15 years.  After many attempts at different treatments including counseling, medication, and ECT therapy he succumbed to the illness and took his own life.   As one can imagine this has been  a tragic, heartbreaking event for Kathryn and his family. Kathryn is now a single mom to 4 boys ages 13, 11, 8, and 4.   Boyd was a man of great faith. He was genuine, funny, kind, and good but mostly the highest praise that is so fitting to him is that he was a great dad; a super hero to his kids. He loved sailing, skiing, mountain biking, and was driven by fun, but would not have enjoyed any of it without his boys and his wife. They were the center of his world as he was the center of theirs.  He saw through so much of the world that doesn’t matter but never missed a moment to share his love and his time with his sons. They were his reason for continuing to fight as long and as valiantly as he did.  Sadly, Kathryn now faces financial burdens.   This fundraiser will go far to help pay for family counseling, pay medical bills, and time to secure new income.  And it will allow her some time to grieve with her children.  We are reaching out to ask for any help you are able to provide our beloved sister.
