<div>I am Enas Salem Deeb, a Palestinian mother from the northern Gaza Strip, part of the Beit Lahia project. I lived a simple life with my husband and six children: five girls (aged 13, 11, 9, 6, and 4) and a two-year-old boy.

<div>The war began on October 7, 2023, and we were forcibly evacuated from our homes to other areas, living in tents unfit for human habitation for a long period of time.


</div>


<div>We no longer had access to food, clean water, or even medicine if necessary.


</div>


<div>During the war, our house was partially destroyed, rendering it uninhabitable even after we were allowed to return. This forced us to stay and live in a tent... a tent that neither protected us from the cold nor the heat, nor from the diseases that had begun to spread among my children.

<div>We lost not only our walls, but all our memories. We no longer had shelter, clean water, adequate food, or any sense of security. Since October 7, 2023, my children haven't gone to school, haven't played, or laughed... only fear.

<div>My little boy suffers from a calcium deficiency that has affected his foot's growth because I can't provide him with milk or proper nutrition. My other children suffer every day from hunger, cold, and deprivation.

<div>Today, I am writing to you not to seek pity, but to seek hope. My only dream is to immigrate with my family to a safe country. I want to start over, establish a small home, open a simple business to support my children, and enable my husband to work in the decoration profession he loves.

<div>ابتدأت الحرب في 7 اكتوبر 2023 وتم اخلاؤنا من منازلنا قصراً للرحيل إلى مناطق اخرى والعيش في خيم غير صالحه لعيش اي إنسان لمده طويلة من الزمن.

<div>لم يعد يتوافر لدينا غذاء ولا مياه صحيه ولا حتى دواء ان لزم الامر .

<div>وخلال الحرب تم تدمير منزلنا بشكل جزئي بالغ جعله غير صالح للسكن بعد السماح لنا للعوده منازلنا . مما اضطررنا للبقاء والعيش في خيمة... خيمة لا تقي بردًا ولا حرًّا، ولا تحمي من الأمراض التي بدأت تنتشر بين أطفالي.
