Nana, a four-year-old dog, has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of numerous challenges throughout her young life. However, her recent diagnosis of stage 3 Lymphoma Cancer was unforeseen. and shocking. But her owner is committed to providing Nana with optimal treatment and striving for remission. To achieve this goal, she has undergone multiple appointments at both her general practice veterinarian office and a specialist oncologist located nearly two hours away (Blue Pearl Oncology in Jacksonville, Florida). Currently, Nana has completed one round of chemotherapy. We are awaiting a cytology report, which will identify the lymphoma type and guide future chemotherapy needs, as well as provide a more accurate timeframe of her longevity. To effectively manage her prognosis, ongoing laboratory testing is necessary, and medication will be required to mitigate potential side effects. Nana is deeply cherished by her owner, who would be profoundly impacted by her potential loss. The initial prognosis from a different veterinary clinic was grim, indicating only a few days to live. Fortunately, Nana is now receiving care from a different hospital and oncologist. Nana's journey is a testament to her strength and resilience, and with the right treatment, care, and support, she's already making remarkable strides! Every day is a gift, and we're hopeful that with your help, we can give this precious soul many more days to shine. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, brings us closer to that goal.
