But in the first few months there's a learning curve that comes at a price. Years ago we were owner operators in the trucking industry. We were doing really well. But then the heart attack. That's how D'zz Spot got started. Fast forward to today. We got the chance for Mrs D to get back into being an owner operator. Learning new solo lanes that pay good takes time. She's getting there. But some of our bills for the Reptarium have taken a hit. The main one is our building payment. We need your help. We know it’s hard for everyone everywhere especially this time of year. But we believe in hope and miracles. We see stories all the time about people raising thousands of dollars for people in need. We're also realistic. We’re only asking for enough to save our building. A Warm Place for Cold-Blooded Help us build a safe, inclusive haven for reptiles. Hi, I’m Deborah—co-founder and creative lead at D’zz Spot Reptarium & Educational Center Inc., a nonprofit born from love, resilience, and a deep belief that every creature deserves care. We’re raising funds to build a permanent, climate-controlled facility for our Ambassador Animals: rescued reptiles who now serve as educators, companions, and symbols of second chances and other rescued reptiles. This space will be more than just warm—it will be welcoming, accessible, and joyfully inclusive, designed to host hands-on learning experiences, community events, and our growing Scaly Rascal Kids Club.
