Help us support our Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and Neighbor as she begins a long fight with High-Grade Urothelial Bladder Cancer
Our mom, Rhonda, has always been the one who puts everyone else first. She is the type of person who shows up with a smile on her face, offers a listening ear, and shows up for others with love, kindness, and strength. Now, friends, it is time that she needs us.
Rhonda was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of bladder cancer. Since her diagnosis, her days have been filled with doctor appointments, scans, procedures, and difficult conversations.
Her treatment plan includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and ultimately removal of her bladder and a complete hysterectomy, if all goes as planned.
Because her cancer is so rare, she must travel nearly two hours each way to Orlando to receive specialized care. As anyone who has experienced cancer knows, the emotional burden is only one part of the journey.
The financial burden can quickly become overwhelming. Even with health insurance, the cost of treatment includes high deductibles, expensive copays, medications, travel to and from appointments, and many unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.
We are creating this fundraiser to help ease that burden so Rhonda can focus on what matters most — healing.
Your generous donations will help cover:
High insurance deductibles and copays
Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatment-related expenses
Medications and medical supplies
Travel costs to and from appointments, specialists, and procedures
Everyday household and living expenses while she is undergoing treatment
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand — sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community is another incredible way to support Rhonda.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support during one of the most difficult times Rhonda will have to face.
Thank you for standing beside Rhonda during the fight of her life.
With love and heartfelt gratitude,
Her daughter Jillian, Family and Friends.
